The food, the service, the management is all above standard. It is so excellent. It’s even hard to describe. It’s my new favorite place. They do an awesome job. They stand behind their food and they are just really great at what they do. Everyone in my party there were seven of us and everyone raved and loved each dish that they had selected. That was the hardest part with selecting something to eat because the selection is so amazing. I think next time I may go for the avocado toast. My husband had a takeout order of biscuits and gravy. Well of course he said mine were better but I’m not sure. I think it’s kind of a tie. I had shrimp and grits and a shrimp was cooked perfectly. We had biscuits and gravy, eggs, French toast+ strawberries & banana & whipped cream. One latte and one coffee.
Biscuits were a soft texture and amazing. The French toast was also great, and I’m glad I got the fruit on top.
Great service and we will go back again to try some of the other menu items.

This is the best breakfast I have had going out to eat in forever! This was incredible. The poptart is huge and the flavor is a 10/10. The sweet potato pancakes are 10/10 as well. So soft, sweet, and a huge portion. The country fried chicken and eggs were so savory, large portion, and the gravy and hand breaded chicken really took it over the top! I would recommend for any occasion. Will be returning. The service all around was wonderful, waitress, service, and atmosphere.

A little bit of a wait, but for good reason. This place is in demand. Didn’t wait too awful long to get seated. I had their version of a country eggs Benedict over hashbrowns. Great serving portion, sooo good, fair price. Also the Cafe Breve was so tasty!

My husband and I stopped at Good Evans and wanted to try their food. My husband had delicious French toast with bananas and strawberries, and I had a delicious avocado toast with roasted tomatoes and greens with side salad. The mocha coffee was awesome! Wonderful and friendly waitress and service. I will go back again!

Let me start by saying the food is phenomenal. I enjoy eating here. However, my most recent visit was a disappointment. I came with a friend and when our food was delivered only my friends came to the table. I was informed mine had been delivered to the wrong table and was being remade. I said this was fine. Mistakes happen, however, by the time my food arrived, my friend was almost done eating and I noticed that my food was not what I had ordered. I let my waitress know. She apologized and offered to have it remade again but we had already waited a bit and had an appointment to get to. Our waitress let me know she put in the wrong order and would pay for my food. I ordered a veggie omelette and was given one with a lot of meat, however I did not feel that after a series of mistakes that the waitress should have to pay for the Omelette, And I didn’t have any more time to wait. We boxed The omelet up to go. It was just disappointing because I paid for food I didn’t want to eat and I always look forward to coming here very much.

The wait wasn’t long at all. Our server was a sweetheart. The food was good but the green chili on top of my omelette was slightly cold, maybe just from the sour cream? The flavor of the green chili was really dang good though, and the omelette was large, fluffy and cooked perfectly. The tots didn’t taste freshly fried. More like they are pre-made and put under a warmer or something. I ended up sharing my tots with the table. All in all, I enjoyed my meal and would just order a different side next time. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his shrimp and grits. Definitely a decent breakfast spot and I would come back again and again for the pop tarts! We got a brown sugar cinnamon one to share with the table and we all gave it a 10! I would love to try different flavors next time as well.

Good Evan’s Restaurant is fantastic, delicious food, a warm atmosphere, and excellent service. A big shoutout to the manager, John, who truly goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. Highly recommend!

We came across this place on a road trip to MI. This place had the best Chicken fried steak we’ve ever had. We also had the Cajun Benedict, and it was delicious! Service was so friendly from the door to table. I would definitely go back!

For its prices, not bad as the proportions were good and some of the dishes were flavorful and tasty. Friend highly recommended the southwest bene, Mexican power bowl, or country fried steak. Our server was nice and service was fast (though bc of how busy, they did forget our pancakes). Overall, not a bad place to get brunch from.
