I work at a Waffle House in NC. I decided to visit this WH last night and this morning since it is right next to my hotel!
The service last night was amazing! The server last night was so sweet and very kind!
However, the service this morning was not the best. The morning server brought my food and never checked on me after that. I also asked her for Mayo and WH sauce when she came back with the food, and didn’t even really acknowledge my response. Regardless, the food was delicious!
The restaurant looked clean and I would go again, I’d just sit in another servers section.

On our way to North Carolina, we had been on the road traveling for hours, 3 states. We decided to take a break and stop at this Waffle House to get something to drink, take a bathroom break, and stretch out our legs for a while. When we got there you couldn’t see a worker in sight. When we walked in the door, we saw someone sitting at the back table on their phone. There was no greeting, we spoke and asked how they were doing. No response. This counter was dirty, and the floors had napkins all over the floor. They asked us if we were eating in or going. We told them we were just getting drinks, but it would be for there. Before we even got our drinks, another person walked in and asked if we had paid yet – they said no and he kept repeating the price of our bill over and over. I just got up and paid it, still not having my drink. It was not a very welcoming place at all. And, I found it very rude to insist that I pay before I ever got my order. This kind of service has never been received at any other Waffle House, and working in food service for more than 14 years—this would never be tolerated at any point!!! Needless to say, thank goodness this is not my local Waffle House. If it had been, I would never step foot in there again. And definitely, would NEVER recommend to anyone. I promise, I will NEVER stop there during travels. They were very rude and very unwelcoming.

Really can’t go wrong with the All Star Special for $9. Yes, all this food for $9 and food is actually pretty decent. Waffles are a bit flatter than what most people are used to, but they are delicious. Bacon and hash browns and both crispy and butter is serviced in room temperature, the way it’s meant to be served.

I walk up. They have a hand written note on the door saying to-go orders only.

It was my first time trying a Waffle House and the staff was very friendly and gave me great recommendations. The food was mouthwatering and delicious. Vic, Danny, and Gina all helped make my experience a great one. Highly recommend.
