Glad places like this still exist out and around. Cool overall vibe as a go-to local pub. Friendly dog on staff…

Clinging on to the antiquated cash only model. The ATM was reasonable ($2.50) but just a single $20 setting? Couple beers & tip eats that up.

3 block or so walk from east campus where the flix bus/greyhound takes a break. The sunday crowd wasn’t used to seeing strangers, so enter at your own risk…

Ok. Here’s the story. The First and Last is an institution in Ellensburg. One of the last local taverns that are have not changed and around forever. I visited many times as a student at Central (CWSC)in the 1970’s. Now Im older retired in Kittitas county, Stopped in again during rodeo. What a hoot. Friendly. Cold beer, Folks passing Boons Farm wine ( I hear is the house wine). Friendly with no flair or formality. Hippies park in the rear sign is still up! I used to have VW van and parked in front on purpose in the old days. Check it out. You may be underwhelmed but that’s the point. Please go downtown if you want ferns and fine dining. Enjoy

Place sucks. Luigi by the atm was mean to me. The beer was flat the service was mediocre and no one should ever come to this place. Two thumbs down. Not a place for people with a Subaru.

Great atmosphere, it’s your hometown bar. This is where the locals hang out and will treat you like you are one. Don’t be shy. Beer is cold and cheap!!

Went in on a week day around 5 it was to weird. Nothing but all men sitting at the bar no one else there. The only friendly was the cute little bartender. She was great! But no thanks on the establishment.

I’m sort of partial to the “first & last chance” tavern, it is owned by my cousin. Small establishment chocked full of fun and some what naughty signs and pictures. Very clean and everyone is friendly.

Awesome, cozy little place that has drinks at a decent price and small town atmosphere. Sarah was very attentive and friendly. I’ll be back for sure.
