The experience at shotgun Willy’s was mixed. My son ordered the sausage breakfast burrito and since he’d been eating trail food for a week he said it was good. I had the brisket breakfast burrito and that was the most different tasting breakfast burrito I’ve ever had. It was like you take a brisket plate with hash browns and all the grease and oil that it’s cooked in and you place it in a tortilla. That being said it was okay caution to any to go orders You can’t eat this burrito in a car unless you already have oil all over your shirt. Overall though it was a unique fun place and I liked it.

So fun to walk in on my first day back in Red River New Mexico wearing of course Seahawks clothing and the owner I am assuming told me about a man who worked there but had a parking spot that says Seattle Seahawks only. I feel welcome to be back for a few days!!!!

Shogun Willie’s is easily one of the best spots in Red River. The food is always delicious, the atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming, and the staff treats you like family. It’s also one of my dad’s favorite places to go, so every visit feels a little special. We’ve never had a bad meal here—just good food, good people, and a place that keeps us coming back. Highly recommend!

Small but mighty! We came here for lunch because everything else in town, according to Google, is closed on Wednesdays. We loved the food! Portions were large; ladies you might want to split a meal with a friend.
I had the loaded fries with chopped brisket, my husband had the loaded potato with chopped brisket, our son had the chicken strips with french fries and a side order of tater tots. Everything had a really great flavor and we were all extremely full!
I’d definitely put this on our “visit again” list. Until next time…

Great breakfast. 2 eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns and toast about $14. Served on a paper platr. Great Willie and other Outlaw music stuff.

Bbq brisket sandwich was so disgusting!! Plain brisket that tasted like ketchup…. not even a pickle . it was $15 not worth it!
Definitely hurt my stomach.
Staff was rude. Especially the Native American girl! Rude !
Place is dirty! Many other places in Red River! Skip this place!!

I’m giving the burritos 5 stars. It was the only thing we ate there. The breakfast burrito with bacon is one of the BEST I’ve had in years. I went back the day we left to get another one. Staff was friendly, shop was clean, atmosphere was family friendly. Seating is minimal, but service is in and out. The coffee in my pic is from another spot..though shotgun Willie’s offers a carafe of what I assumed to be drip coffee. Would recommend and will be visiting again!

A great place for simple food. Burger with green chili and cheese is incredible. The tater tot’s with chili and cheese taste great, but you will probably need to share it with a few people. Nice experience great people. We will be back, and hopefully we will send others.

Super great place for local hamburgers and other great menu items. I had the chili and it was Texas style. When they said “chili,” they didn’t ask, “Red or Green.”
Besides hamburgers and chili, they also had catfish. That is what my son ordered and he loved it. The place was crowded, but that was to be expected since we were there for the Red River Family Encampment… which means there were tons of people there as well. They had take-out if we wanted to take the food back to our condo… but since there were only two of us, we found a seat. Lucky us!
You know this place has to be good when the local law enforcement frequent the place even though it was crowded. Great to meet the Red River Marshals.
