Definitely a hidden gem here! I came here with my mother for a bite to eat while in the thomaston area and we were happy that we found this restaurant. We were seated right away even though they were super busy. I ordered
TONY’S FAVORITE – CRISPY CHICKEN WRAP $13.95 that’s came with soup or fries. I picked the soup and I was happy I did. The soup tasted so good I ordered one to bring home. my mom also got the beef vegetable soup with a side of toast. The Staff were so friendly and kept checking in on us. Restaurant was clean. Prices were reasonable too.

This place was a hidden gem! All the staff was super friendly and helpful. The food tasted amazing, so much flavor. Coffee was nice and hot. You might have to wait a little to be seated but well worth the wait!

Eagles nest was good. The food was alright mostly good. The cook forgot about my fries and said the reason was because I ordered them well done. I was sitting in my booth with my family of 6 waiting for 45mins for our food. The waitress forgot about our soup we kept waiting and waiting finally had got her attention and we got our soup. The staff walk around with their heads down never noticed that We were trying to wave someone over we were waiting for drinks for so long. The soup was the best part and the fry’s were good too. The burger has canned mushrooms were heated in microwave I could taste the can. I think they used to be much better.

I stopped here with my Wife for quick breakfast. We parked behind, there are little parking lot there. Place was pretty busy.
We were greeted nicely by staff. Was few minutes wait, it was worth it. Food was good. My Wife got eggs and steak, I got same thing plus omelet with chocolate milk. Steak was cooked really good. Omelet and eggs were good too.
Staff was very nice.

I do not leave a review for every place I try!! Either I have not eaten there, or I was severely disappointed. With that said: I have been searching for a breakfast place that serves biscuits with homemade sausage gravy for a long time. There aren’t many breakfast places that serve it. Some serve it on the weekends only, and some make a failed attempt to dress it up like it’s a vogue magazine:

Take a look at the picture and see for yourself. this is, hands-down, the best biscuits with sausage gravy I have ever had in CT!!!! In my area, there were five contenders, and this one blew everybody out of the water.!!!! Also, check out the home fries!! Not a soggy mess where they’re boiled first and then fried. Basic with onions, solid WINNER – without an exaggerated pretentiousness (-had to ) The eggs tasted amazing! I call this dish a trifecta of home cooking! And it was only $14.77!!!! It was worth every penny. The owner took my plate and turned it so I would not stick my sleeve in the gravy!! I wish I caught that on ‘film’ !! They have been open for 16 years. April 4 is their anniversary date. After the plate was put in front of me and moved to its proper place, The chef, a family member, came forward and said, “I’ve been making this for 30 years!” WOW!!!!! The food came out quick. The locals were just amazing and friendly. If you park in the back you have to approach the building on the left but make sure no one is driving out otherwise there is a lot of parking in the back. GO! GO! GO! GO! ☮️☮️☮️☮️☮️

Great and fast service. Awesome staff!!! – side story…my husband left behind his wedding band at our table and one of the waitresses found it and ran his ring out to us (she even stopped cars from leaving just to make sure we got it back)! Now that’s good service and a staff that cares ❤️
