San Joes To Go Mexican food

My wife and I ordered there today 11/15/25. She ordered 2 beef enchiladas and 1 steak taco with cheese. I ordered a burrito especial with steak, chicken, and shrimp no guacamole. I got some plate with green peppers in an aluminum bowl. My wife got her steak taco correct but got something in refined beans and green sauce. I took my order back I up and explained i got wrong item she showed me her ticket and it’s exactly what I ordered. And got pissed when I said exactly what I ordered. Also reminded her no guacamole. I received a burrito with 4 total pieces of meat and a huge helping of guacamole in it. Guess she showed me. We WERE until today loyal customers. I understand that people want to work but honestly if they can not understand English put someone that can so customers orders are made correctly. There was 2 people there before us with some issues.

I ordered the taco salad and I added beans & rice. Salad shell not crispy and the flavors are just not there. I also ordered a fish taco. It was missing all the normal toppings for a regular fish taco recipe. Service rating is higher because they honored their word to remake the order.
I really wanted to give a better review.

I cannot rave enough about this place. SO GOOD! I love the Williams Special – Texas Style with Chorizo Added. The sauce they use in it is intoxicatingly delicious. This is my go-to every time I’m in the area, especially late at night because they are open until 4! Crazy! Oh, and their Horchata is MASSIVE. I’m drooling just thinking about it!

I’ve past this place a number of times during visits with my dad & thought that I’d love a chance to try it out.
I’m not much on eating out or Mexican food, but something drove me to want to believe this might be some good food !?!

The food is expensive for the portions I felt like I did not recieve my money’s worth. The food is good I had no issues with . My girlfriend got a shrimp quesadillia and it looked like a grill cheese taco. I got the chipotle burrito I opened it up it was mostly rice and onions hardly any chicken. I spent 40$ for the food in the photo.

Joe’s is a hit or miss type spot. Some nights yours wings may be over cooked and dry, the next under cooked and pink. I’ve literallt received both but I can’t say I’ve had good wings from them at all. I’ve had RAW wings from them before. The one thing I can count on is a taco salad. It’s always good but if you want a hot shell, you might want to request it or else it’s going to be cold. Oh, and TACOS !! Yummy!! But I’ve NEVER gotten a bag of chips that were completely fresh. They always have stale chips somewhere in the bag. I mean, you might get it and it’s good or you might get it and be upset. Your choice really lol

Fantastic food. Called my order in towards closing then went to pay and waited for my food to be ready. The tacos were delish. The peach punch was great as always. Didn’t have to wait too long on food – it does take time to make everything; very reasonable timing. Employees were nice and observant/aware of things going on outside of window. Price was reasonable for amount/quality of food ordered, but was still a little more than what I wanted to spend on dinner. (2 adults, 2 kids = under $50, again, very reasonable) we really enjoy getting food here occasionally and I can’t think of a time anything has ever not been good.
