Light center offers a variety of sandwiches, hot food, salads, soups, and snacks. They also offer coffee and desert such as ice cream sundaes. We stopped by for lunch and ordered the “Turkey and Swiss on Sourdough” and the “Roasted Turkey with Pesto.” The food is inexpensive, the total for both sandwiches being a little over $14. It was easy to order, and the service was phenomenal. The woman inside was friendly and efficient. The business accepts cash or card, including tap pay. We got our sandwiches and they were delicious. Everyone was left satisfied. We would be happy to return again with the whole family, to take advantage of the fun atmosphere, games and delicious food.

Stopped in about 20 minutes before closing. Some places won’t serve you at that time, but the owner was very friendly and said she would be glad to get me what I need. Got a cheeseburger that was excellent. Started to get chicken salad, and after reading another good review about it, I will definitely get it next time. Thank you for staying open a few minutes past closing time for me.

I stopped here for the first time today for lunch and the environment is very friendly and inviting. I ordered their chicken salad sandwich which was made from scratch and surprisingly didn’t take long. I highly recommend this little shop tucked in the center of Newton right across the street from the Newton Police Staion on the 123.
