We came around in the drive-through and they were having a conversation on the mics without talking to us. Once we ordered and got to the window, she said that she will be right back and left. Then when we got our food, it was missing a lot of the items. When we went back in and asked, they just gave me a packaged ranch and not the good stuff that is homemade there. The grease is unbelievable, and my fries are undercooked. Waited an excessive amount of time and there was no one else there.

The grease is unbelievable. I know it’s fast food, it’s gonna be greasy and unhealthy. But good lord, lol. I pulled the container of fries out of the bag and it was literally dripping. The cardboard was soft and mushy from it. We had to pat down almost everything with napkins. The fries had no salt or seasoning at all, just lukewarm, mushy, and bland. The burger was just “meh;” also bland and not as hot as it should have been. We also had cheese curds to split; those were the best thing we ordered despite the grease, even though they tasted very close to those Snap frozen cheese sticks you can buy at the Dollar Tree and Walmart. This was an incredibly mid meal, which is a shame because the last time I had Dairy Queen was over five years ago in Florida, and I remember really enjoying it. They honestly should probably just stick to ice cream.

This is the most expensive DQ….by far…. I have ever been to in all my travels across the nation. As an example, a week ago I was at a Texas location and the Dilly bar was $1.99……here it is $4.99….ouch! This location, and the north Bismarck location, are operated by the same person…as per an employee. Neither location will take mobile oders….wonder why? Seems like a way to hike prices locally and prevent the use of any specials offered via the app. Mandan DQ has relatively normal prices….and they take orders via the app.

Slow service when we asked for bacon cheese burger give us a regular cheese buger when I brought to there attention they didn’t seem to know what to do, so I asked if they would just give us a discount on icream then, ordered icream after eating and no discount pluse we ordered ultimate chocolate browie blizzard one would think they would make it with chocolate icream like the pictures shows but nope vanilla… pluse side everything tasted okay…

Ordered Chicken strip meal. When i got it, fries were ice cold and soggy. Asked for fresh ones. Was parked. Less than 3 minutes passed and they brought out the food. I guarantee it was the same food. When i got home not only were the fries cold and nasty but the chicken was not fresh either.. cold and dry. Food was terrible and no one cared to make it right. Biggest waste of $19. So sad this is what the restaurant experience is coming too. High prices and way below acceptable quality.

A friend and I each ordered a large onion ring and then went to the dining area to wait. We sat at one of the few tables that was somewhat clean, which was the cleanest one that we could find. The other tables were dirty, and it appeared that they hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The store was not busy, we were the only customers in the store at the time. No excuse for being dirty when you’re slow. We waited far too long without hearing anything and decided to go order two large Blizzards to remind them we were still waiting. Only when we ordered the Blizzards did the staff remember our onion rings. They claimed that they thought we had left. Okay, maybe… but why not physically check the dining area or holler out the order?
The service was friendly and prompt to help, but I can only think that there are serious deficiencies in their training, supervision, or both. The dining area was dirty during a slow time and there is no excuse for dirtiness whatsoever. Being the only customers in the place at the time and not getting our orders when ready, not good at all.
The onion rings, despite not being as hot as they should have been, were delicious as usual. The Blizzards were great as usual. No complaints about the food other than not getting the onion rings in a timely manner.

Our drinks left an after taste of dirty rags, ranch isn’t like any other Dairy Queen, MY CHICKEN WAS OLD. NEVER COMING BACK. ID RECOMMEND ANY OTHER DAIRY QUEEN THAN THIS ONE. Everything got thrown away, waste of money.

I like this DQ because it’s always clean and the other customers are respectful and polite. The burgers are excellent and who doesn’t like a Blizzard? Service is good, but rarely a smile. I’ll take it.

The ordering process through the drive through was not good first off. Then I order a chicken strip basket and I have always loved them. The fries in the basket were awful. Cold, no taste, they were just nasty. The chicken was okay. No bread in the basket.
Don’t come to this DQ. Go to the Mandan location! It’s the only good one.

While I wasn’t expecting an amazing culinary experience, I wasn’t expecting to have to fight flies for what appeared to be day-old chicken strips either. A truly disappointing experience.
The price was right ($5) & the location conveniently close to the airport.
The table and floor were filthy. Nobody cleaned anything while we were there. If you have time to lean, you have time to clean. There’s no way that the goldfish crackers strewn about and being trampled on, needing to be swept up, went unnoticed.
I think I’ll go to the airport vending machine next time. Seriously.
