This is definitely what I would call a hidden gem, not necessarily that hidden but any diner that serves amazing food with good service and a clean environment is hard to find now a days! My husband and I came here for breakfast and it was DELICIOUS!! I ordered the thick sourdough bread French toast with eggs and bacon and he ordered the special that comes with everything but he traded a waffle for the pancakes and we were both happily impressed!! Even the orange juice and coffee was tasty, we had no complaints and will probably come eat again when we visit! Thank you again for the amazing food, it took me back to when my grandma used to make me French toast every morning and I’m not sure what her trick was but it was always the best French toast I’ve ever had!

Drove past here many times unaware of this hidden gem. I am extremely satisfied with my experience today (1/6/2024 11am) the food and service was amazing! It was definitely loud , fast paced, and packed in there so if you’re not into that then this isn’t the place for you.
I personally had a great time. I would like to add that although it was very busy we never felt rushed while eating and the staff was very attentive

All items were brought to our table hot af and definitely tasted freshly made.
The waffle was delicious, not overly sweet, banana/nut balance was perfect it does already come with some type of syrup so keep that in mind when ordering.
Fries were slightly crispy on the outside but super soft and mushy on the inside, they did not taste of old oil or any other flavor besides yummy fries / seasoning. Plus they keep their ketchup refrigerated which absolutely added to the pleasant tasting experience because the fries were piping hot ! We also requested ranch which wasn’t an additional charge.
The breakfast sandwich had the perfect balance of everything it was not overly seasoned or salted and the tomato was perfect.
Coffee was amazing I got 2 refills and one to go we were asked plenty of times if we wanted a refill never had to waive them down for one.
Overall I highly recommend this place and we will for sure be back.

Never Forget
Excellent service, good size burrito. Not too small and not too big. The only thing is I wish it had a just a little more bacon strip bits. I definitely reccomend this location for breakfast. It also had good coffee. Oh and hazelnut and French vanilla creamer, some breakfast locations don’t carry them and I’m glad they did.

Top tier! I love bringing my family. The staff is wonderful and the food is delicious! Anything you order is delightful. It’s family centered but also a good spot to go alone. The churro waffle with vanilla ice cream is my favorite!

Happy dinner has the best breakfast in town, machaca is delicious, salsa Verde chilaquiles are to die for. Prices are fair and the staff is super friendly. Great food. ❤️

I ordered from uber eats and this is one of the best places to order from! I’m in palos verdes/San Pedro and the food is always delivered hot with the instructions clearly read and executed! I have a digestive disease and it’s hard for me to pick out food to eat but Happy Diner #2 is for sure a go to now! Thank you!
