For Pete’s Sake Pub is a staple in the city of Philly. Whenever anyone asks me for a recommendation, I always tell them For Pete’s Sake pub. There’s an extensive drink menu and food menu that’s never boring. The staff is super welcoming. So many great items to chose from for lunch or dinner.

Cute neighborhood pub with great service and good beer selection, not impressed by the food. We got the fried pickles during happy hour, and while I realize it’s a $5 special, there were literally 12 pickle chips on the plate. Those are expensive pickle chips, and I’d be upset if I’d paid regular price. Tried the $10 Monday night burger special and that was good, but the bun was crumbling dry and while cooked as ordered (medium) the burger was not juicy to cover it. It did come with fries which were fresh and delicious. The bartender was very friendly. I will give it another try and add to my review next time.

This place was okay I loved that they have outdoor seating. Me and my boyfriend came here one night to have a drink, but I didn’t see anything that I liked. He ordered a beer and the waitress took forever to bring it out. The chicken tenders weren’t that great either and $13 they are quite expensive but what isn’t anymore, right ♀️ I would come back again to sit outside and eat the sweet potato fries they were good.

Great spot for lunch! The outdoor seating is very cute, and they even offer water and cookies for your pup, which completely won my heart. The food was tasty, and the server was polite and friendly. I highly recommend it!

Great neighborhood spot with warm and friendly bartenders and tasty food. The $10 black Angus burgers on Mondays is where it’s at. Really delicious burgers! But honestly, it’s all good and they have great happy hour specials, too.

The place is small but cozy, and the service was great. My blackberry smash cocktail was also really good. However, we found the food to just be okay. Passable bar food, but we weren’t wowed and found it lacking some flavor. And at $16 for the entrees we got, especially considering the portion sizes, it seemed a bit steep.

Super amazing service! Customers are respected here. Great food and drinks too, of course. There’s also an upstairs area and seating out in front, situated on the corner of the street. There’s about 5 TVs inside. Highly recommended for sports bar vibes.

Stopped by For Pete’s Sake for a quick bit and the service was awesome. The soup of the day was a butternut squash which I’ve never had before and it was delicious. For drinks we had the mojito meltdown and the cherry lime margarita. They were so delicious and refreshing even though we got the last mojito meltdown of the season. However she did say they’ll have a sangria for the upcoming season. I got the beet salad and my friend got the chicken and Waffles. My salad was crisp and the flavors perfectly balanced. My friend loved the chicken and Waffles. Can’t wait to come back

Fantastic neighborhood Irish pub. Everything from the decor, to the menu, to the beer selection is awesome. Outside seating too for when it’s nice. The staff though, they’re the heroes – the bar staff, Erin, Ryan, Gina, Sky, Peter, Porsche – all top notch professionals. From the minute you walk in, they make you feel like a VIP. Best pub in the city.
