Reading all these other reviews I’m shocked.
I ordered the chori salchipapa fries and the presentation and taste was pretty good. I think the price is fair for the portioning, I couldn’t finish it all.
The waitresses weren’t rude or anything and food was out in a timely manner compared as said to the other reviews
I will say that the table benches where people eat weren’t too clean

This is not a burger you compare to the “gourmet burgers” out there, and it is not a fast food burger, food here is made to order. I have been wanting to try this permanently parked food truck for over a year. Reviews were good but noticed some bad ones recently, so it was my turn. I live by a simple knowing, when burgers or beefs are messy, they are good! I’ve never had a messy burger that was not good. I had their staple, the California burger and really enjoyed it. I would not recommend eating it in your car or at your work desk. I went through a bunch of napkins. Very cheesy and it even has some potato chips on it for texture. The bread got more and more soggy as I devoured it, a good thing in my burger world. The cheese just oozed out the sides, mmmmm.
The fries are GREAT! I ate half of them before snapping a photo. We took the food home and fries still hot and crispy, a major plus in my book. I want to try some of the Latin items on their menu next. But overall, I enjoyed this “sloppy” tasty burger and fries. And where else do you get a fresh made to order burger and fries for $9.99? Also, open late which is becoming rare in the food industry.

*Edit* Ordered from here two additional times and the first time the food wasn’t very good and this time they didn’t give us 90% of our order and what we did get was messed up.
Great food, Excellent prices! We found this place because practically everything was closed on a Tuesday night and they were open at 10:30p.m. We ordered in ubereats, it took awhile to get our order I’m sure that’s more of a uber issue than a Caliburger issue. Let me tell you, it was definitely worth the wait. Everything was delicious with HUGE portion sizes! Next time I need to order more hot sauce with the tacos though cause they have a delicious hot sauce!

I love their salcipapas. They don’t mess around when it comes to the food. The service isn’t the best, but that’s probably due to a language barrier. I don’t speak Spanish and they had trouble understanding me. Now I know that so I don’t ask questions. I just hand them $10 and say salcipapas. Year later update and the food is still amazing and the price has remained the same. They did shrink the portions a bit, but it’s still one of the best value places to eat in Town n country. Try the quesadilla burger it’s freaking awesome

We are visiting Tampa and looked up places to eat, specifically places we cannot get back home. This place popped up based on the reviews we chose to try it. This place did not disappoint!! Food was so good, seasoned perfect, we ate there as they have a covered sitting area. Food came out in about 20 minutes, cooked fresh. I definitely recommend this place.

If you want a burger that yells “this IS a hell of a burger” then this is what you need. This is the kinda of burger people romanticize in movies and shows. The French fries are made with real potatoes, the meat is juicy, the cheese is melty and the drinks are cold! Burger is huge so make sure you have time for a food coma. Delicious.

This is THE hangover spot! The Colombian people here are so lively and kind! They have music playing, the food portions are grand, and the food is beyond delicious. If the old man is behind the counter, you’re in for quite the meal! Try the Hawaiian empanadas (my new favorite!)

First time ordering from this place and boy, oh boy was it a mistake! Called my order in on a Thursday afternoon (which meant it was DEAD), told the woman taking my order that I’d like to order their “Picada” and that I would like for it to be lightly fried. In other words NOT BURNT! I always make sure to mention this when I order these type of fried dishes because the cooks tend to over fry the meats, leaving them extremely dry. Well this is what I received! I’m glad I mentioned that I didn’t want it over cooked because I can just imagine what it would’ve looked like if I hadnt…. SMH ♀️ The tostones were really hard, fries were extremely cold and the meats were super dry. Not juicy at all! The meats had a decent flavor but the fried arepas and french fries tasted like they were cooked in super dirty oil. I’d definitely won’t be wasting my money here again.
