My husband is a local, so he grew up going to the original T-Room. As a transplant to the area, I have fully embraced his love for this place! Place! I prefer the Texas Inn (T Room) in cornerstone, But honestly it might be just because the location is easier for me to get to. The people are always friendly and make you feel like you have been friends forever. You get drawn into the conversation going on behind the counter. Everything is sparkling clean every time I go in. It is a diner, but it is a well cared for and well-loved diner. I love their breakfast biscuits, love their hot dogs and of course you can’t go wrong with the cheesy Western!!

Simple and clean atmosphere with an appropriate style of dine-in seating. I like that people would face the kitchen when sitting on highchairs. Service was great. I could see that they have many regulars that would come for their food. I have tried quite a bit of the menu. Nothing stood out to me, but everything tasted okay. Perhaps it’s the red color all over me. I felt compelled to eat a lot.

Very disappointed with my order. I ordered Grill Cheese, Cheesy Western and fries. The grill cheese consists of 2 slices of white bread and a slice of cold cheese. The cheesy western was undercooked and no taste. Fries where barely warm and undercooked. Not sure who the cook was but to spend $36.00 for a meal only to throw it in the trash.

This a great place to eat. The staff is friendly and your food is cooked fast. There are only about 15 barstools so at times it can be packed. I haven’t had anything bad to eat there my kids love the red hot dogs. I recommend the cheesy western and a bowl. They now offer delivery through grub hub.

I Came To This Location Because Of The 90th Birthday Celebration. Hotdogs Was .90 From 9am To 9pm. I Arrived At 8:50pm And Didn’t Receive Any Help From The Staff. At Least Six Individuals Came In About 5 To 10 Minutes After Me And The Staff Greeted Them Immediately And Took Their Order And They Paid For It.

It Is Now 9:20pm on Oct 9th As I’m Writing This Review And The Staff At This Location Still Haven’t Taken My Order.

Half Of The People That Was Eating, Etc. Are Now Gone, Restaurant Jus5 About Empty And The Staff Still Haven’t Ask What I Wanted.

I always look for small hometown areas to eat when I am out of town. This is a place I will make sure to visit again. Friendly people and great food. Shop, Buy, and trade local. My boyfriend and I travel a lot for work and always look for local places. We found this on a Saturday morning and had breakfast. It was fantastic. Everyone was friendly and enjoyed the food. We say they had a special during football season for 4 cheesies, 4 hot dogs, and 4 bowls of chili. Everything was delicious except the chili. It was bland. Literally had no flavor. I wouldn’t rather had a bowl of whatever chili they put in the hot dogs. That was delicious! We did do pick up for that order. Everything else more than makes up for the bland chili. Picture of chili included. Friendly place altogether and all the other food we had was excellent. This pertains to the cornerstone location.

This was our first time going to the Texas Inn Cornerstone. We moved here six years ago from NY. This has got to be the BEST diner we have been to around VA. The staff, especially Jolie was Fantastic. She is very Courteous, Kind, Knew the Menu Very Well & Most of All her Attentiveness, Service and Knowledge of this Business was amazing. The entire place is so clean !!We have found our SPOT now & Highly Recommended….
