It was a little later on a cold and snowy Sunday night so we were glad the restaurant was open because we had read about it and we’re hoping to visit. The staff was welcoming and engaging, and explained their favorite dishes after we asked them. The freshly made chips and salsa was delicious. And we also ordered a side of guacamole, and it was fresh and flavorful. The three of us each ordered entrees and all were very tasty. And I had leftovers for lunch the next day. We look forward to come again. Maybe to try breakfast. They are still working on a liquor license, so we’d love to come back for some drinks then.

First off, the price for what I got was very affordable. The potatoes were the perfect amount of crunchy, the chili was good and spicy, and the guacamole is made fresh in house. I will definitely be back.

I ordered the molcajete and it was the best one I’ve ever had!! It honestly could feed around 2-3 people and for the price I think that’s amazing in this economy. There was so much flavor and I keep thinking about it lol. I will definitely be reordering it when I go back. I am looking forward to trying other items on their menu, everything looks delicious.

This was my family’s first time eating here. The food was absolutely one of the best and most authentic we’ve had. I had a gordita with chicharrón and carne asada taco. My husband had tge barbacoa tacos and he said this was the best he’s had. We also tried the birria and also thought this was the best! The service was wonderful and the people were very friendly. We will be visiting very frequently!

Never underestimate the hole in the wall restaurant! The birria tacos are amazing, the choriqueso was the perfect appetizer, and the chicken mole was delicious. We had a party of 12 and nobody left disappointed. The staff provided great service and was very attentive!

My wife and I were at our mechanics and saw this place, so we decided to stop in for breakfast. We are certainly glad we did. The food was phenomenal, the service was wonderful, and the quiet atmosphere was just what we needed. I grew up on Mexican food and was reminded of my time with my aunts. This place is authentic, and my wife and I will return.

The pupusas are excellent, the mole, tamales, menudo are delicious!! We have been in so many Mexican restaurants and none of them have tasty food like this one!! The service and food are extremely good!!

I was fortunate enough to be at the Dia De los Muertos Art Festival where Las Americas was tempting everybody with their amazing foods, smells and varieties. We had the jalapeno/cheese tamale, and it was mouthwatering! We became obsessed!!!!! 10 out of 10!!!!!
HOWEVER, I was super excited to order via GrubHub for an anniversary. We ordered the carne asada fries which were crispy and the fries were super good….. but they forgot the cheese (!!!!!) so, the whole thing was dry. We just choked on naked fries.
We ordered tamales (didn’t have the option to select which kind) and tried the Salvadorian tamale. I’ve never had a tamale with bones…. GIANT BONES AND BONE SHARDS!!!! EEEEWWW I died. We ended up throwing everything away. It kind of broke my heart. So I can’t say if I’d recommend it. I had one good experience and one traumatizing one. Good luck!

The food I had was great. My review is based on the service when ordering.
I arrived and scanned their menu QR so I could order. Upon trying to pay, the woman tells me their credit card machine was down, but just seconds later, one of the servers comes over with a table’s credit card to charge it. I said whatever and handed her cash. Then I told her I needed a receipt so I could get it reimbursed for work. She said she couldn’t provide one but she could write down that I gave her money. I told her that wasn’t something I could submit, and I pointed to the other receipts I saw and said that’s what I needed. She started entering items into the POS and then provided me with a receipt – and then I saw that all of the food items were higher in cost than the menu I had just scanned.
I dislike feeling like I’m receiving dishonest service. Please correct the menu that you have customers scan to order their food, and if your Square tablet isn’t taking credit cards, then make it known before your customer starts ordering. I understand that there are times when restaurants need to change their prices, but it needs to be shared upfront. The food is good, but I’d look out for service issues.
