I came here for dinner and I was sat at the bar immediately. The servers and bartenders were wonderful and very attentive. There is a variety of liquor and cocktails to choose from. The atmosphere is super upscale and chill. Great place to take a date here. Although the menu is a little pricey, you can definitely feel the freshness of the ingredients and it tastes delicious. I recommend coming here between 5 and 7 to take advantage of their happy hour deals on alcohol and food. Overall I had a fantastic experience here and I would a hundred percent come back if I had the chance.

Issue with water service and ordering bottled water and the bus boy wanted to remove our glasses prior to main service. I explained that we had a bottle water and he put the glasses back on the table. Five minutes later, he came over with a picture of tapwater and try to fill our glasses. We ordered a wedge salad and they served full strips of undercooked bacon has. It was sat nice and chewy. I let the manager know at the end of the night rather during our seating and she had a contest the situation. On top of that, we ordered a 8 ounce fillet to split and it looks more like a 6 ounce fillet

Valentine’s day fail. Had 6:30 pm reservations. Checked in 10 min. before. Sadly the hostess was snooty. That should have been our sign. We waited over 2 hrs & never received our dinner. We received our drinks & appetizer about 45 min. after we checked in. The waitress was delightful and made sure we were aware of the food and drink delays but after the long wait, she hesitated but notified us they were out of Prime Rib. That was shocking being that it’s a well known steakhouse establismemt. We decide to cancel the order since the waitress was not certain how much longer it would be for our food to be served. The manager compensated our drinks & appetizer. We left waitress a tip for being attentive. By this time it was almost 9:00 pm. Most restuarants close early in Simi. Luckily El Mariachi Loco was open. We were able to enjoy delicious food & great hospitality Unfortunately I can’t say that about Larsen’s in SV. I never imagined our Valentine’s night ending so poorly there

My nephew treated my brother and me to an amazing dinner at Larsen’s Steakhouse in Simi Valley. My brother had the sliced tri-tip and ribs , I had the Chardonnay-soaked cedar plank salmon , and my nephew enjoyed the prime ribeye . We started with the Maryland crab cakes , jumbo bacon-wrapped shrimp , and dinner rolls—everything was absolutely delicious!
Chris, our waiter, was fantastic—friendly, professional, and spot-on with his recommendations .
As someone visiting from Dallas, Texas , where steaks and BBQ are king, I have to say Larsen’s hit it out of the park. I’ll definitely be back!

We tried Larsons for the first time and had a good experience until the very end when our server hovered over my shoulder with 25% lite up on her pay pad.
She may have actually gotten that but it really wrecked the experience. $16 drinks, $50 average a plate and their servers don’t understand how rude that is???
She also made a face when I clicked on 20%. 20%!!
Used to be 15% was normal and 18% meant they were amazing. Not in today’s spoiled entitled world.
It’s a real shame, because every thing else was good. I saw other servers doing the same thing so it must be a normal thing there.
This person got a $31 tip which means anything over two people they’re getting $50 min. 20 tabes a night is at least $1000 a night. After paying out bussers/bartenders etc they’re doing 700-800 a night.
That, and we get a face for not giving an extra 5%??. They need to have a talk with their wait staff.
Unbelievable

My wife and I came here on a Sunday night to celebrate our late valentine day dinner. It worked out for us because my wife wanted to visit a store next door before coming here so I made reservations over OpenTable. We found parking easily in the front because this plaza usually doesn’t get busy and has tons of parking spots. We checked in like 5 minutes after our reservation but I confirm on the text message that we were on the way. The inside of this restaurant is very dark, when we went to the Woodland Hills location the inside is much more brighter. It took like 5 minutes for us to get seated and we were seated toward the back. Our waitress was Danielle and she was wonderful with us. They give us complimentary bread and then we placed our food order. I went with their Chilean Sea bass (I usually get steak here) and I was able to sub out the asparagus with fries. My wife went with the Chardonnay Soaked Cedar Plank Salmon and got a side of the five cheese macaroni. Our food didn’t take long to come out and we were excited to eat our meal. My wife like her Salmon and I tried it which I thought it was tasty. My Chilean Sea Bass was amazing but the rice had some hard pieces and munchy. My fries were crunchy and I don’t think they have regular ketchup here unless my taste buds was off. When our waitress Danielle came back to check on us, I told her about my rice and she asked if I wanted a another side dish of rice but I told her it was fine. The highlight of the night was when I went to the bathroom and saw they have mouthwash there. I never saw that before at any steak or high end restaurant. Overall we had a good dinner and now I can say we tried the 3 Larsen location, the other one we tried was the Encino location.

A great American steakhouse with some of the best staff and atmosphere of any restaurant. The staff is always attentive checking up to make sure everything is okay, while the atmosphere matches that of a steakhouse. The food for the most part was good. I got an Oscar style steak to celebrate–the steak was one of my favorites steaks I’ve ever tried. The butter cake is amazing, the prime rib dip sandwich…eh. Still, I definitely recommend to come to this restaurant for celebrations.

We recently celebrated a 70th birthday at Simi Valley Larsen’s Restaurant, and it was absolutely flawless! From planning to execution, the entire team went above and beyond to make the night very special.
A huge thank you to Jaime, the General Manager, whose professionalism and attentiveness made our experience seamless from start to finish. She coordinated the private room and made sure every detail of the evening was flawless
On the night of the event, Kathy and Brie, along with the rest of the server team, delivered exceptional service. Every dish arrived hot, beautifully presented, and perfectly timed. This is no small feat for a party of 14! The food was fantastic, as always, and our guests couldn’t stop raving.
Maggie and the bar team were rockstars, keeping drinks flowing efficiently despite a packed house. Their speed and coordination made a huge difference.
It’s clear this team takes pride in what they do. We’re regulars here, and this celebration reminded us why. Huge thanks to everyone who made it a night to remember!
