A great spot at Rockwood for Mayan cuisine and Mexican faves. I will be going back to try more options. I had a breaded chicken dish that was really great with a huge portion for around $20, probably could have been split with someone else. I believe it was called pollo empanizada. I also ordered an ice cold Mexican Coke.

I had their award winning chicken taco and the queso birria. Both were phenomenal.
Service was fast and friendly.
This is inside the rockwood food hall. They had the roll up doors open and there is a splash pad for the kiddos outside.
Overall an incredible spot!!

One of Gresham’s true gems. How there isn’t always a line up to this place is a mystery to me. If you’ve never been, you *must* order at least a panucho and salbute, and build from there. A pork empanada couldn’t hurt, either. Everything I’ve tried here is a pitch-perfect combo of flavors and textures. Between Cox Hanal, the other great eateries in Rockwood Market Hall, and the La Tia Juana taqueria just to the north, this might be the single best block for good food on the entire East Side.

This place is just so good I can’t even describe it. I’ve been here a few times now and every time it just gets better. The video is me getting a arroz con leche. Not a normal offering, but they had it today enjoy!!
