Not bad but definitely a few things they need to take care of. We had a party of 6 and showed up for dinner at 6pm. The adults ordered fried chicken. Chicken was cooked well but didn’t have much flavor. The sides were standard diner fare and pretty good. Service was excellent. The water tasted pretty bad and probably something they should look into.

Food was average. Certainly no WOW. Staff was friendly, courteous, and efficient. Prices were decent. However…I ordered a side of toast and the upcharge for that was $6. Yep, you read that right, $6 for 2 slices of TOAST. I could have bought LOAVES of bread at that price. Yikes! If it wasn’t for that insane upcharge, I may have left them 4 stars instead of 3. Happy Breakfasting Everyone.

Never have I ever felt so shamed by what I ordered! Waitress couldn’t stop commenting on the “amount” of food we had. Which was 2 sides including their specialty potatoes cause I had someone visiting from out of state and wanted them to try it. Common courtesy not to comment on someone’s food like that.

I was hoping for a great experience UT unfortunately I was disappointed. There were flies all over, and I couldn’t even eat without being bothered by them. The food was very average and bland. There was a new cook(always my luck) and it just didn’t taste the best. My eggs were burnt and craipy on the bottom, and the French toast had zero flavor. The waitress was very nice, but I would pass on making a stop here.

Waitress was attentive and friendly. Food portions were good size. Price wise they are $$. They have a good selection of pies for dessert!! First time here, we’re from Beloit, and would definitely stop by again.

I enjoyed the one biscuit and gravy, (was not the best I’ve had, but still good) scrambled egg, hash browns with an extra side of crisp bacon, (done just crispy enough!!) I did not leave hungry, good size servings. Good orange juice also.
