Stopped here before our flight back home. Was weary about the low review scores but all the airport restaurants had low review scores due to pricing. We come to expect the higher prices. But this restaurant exceeded our expectations! I had the Salmon and Lentils, my family had the burgers, sandwich and fries. I also had the crème brûlée. Everything was delicious! Only thing I would have liked my crème brûlée to have been a little warmer but it was still delicious. Excellent customer service! Sarah was our waiter/hostess, who attended us timely and very politely. She greeted us with a smile and was very friendly and professional. It felt line fine dining . My daughter stated she forgot we were in the airport! . If you are in the Newark airport, this is the restaurant to try. I’m glad we did.

The espresso machine is continuously broken. Ive come four times to this place over a year and its perpetually “broken”. I mean, c’mon folks, don’t be so cheap and take your restaurant seriously. The breakfast menu is otherwise quite good, particularly their delicious and richly flavoured potato skins. The quality of their eggs and bacon is also superb.

Worst food ever! How can anyone mess up avocado toast? I should have seen the reviews before going here and it seems after consistent same reviews there is no improvement. It was a mildly warmed bread served with a drop of avocado spread and tone of mixed greens. When I asked them to give more avocado, I got the response that is how avocado toast looks like. You pay in advance of the order so there is nothing you can do about it. Overpriced and absolutely not worth it. I had to grab and go a bagel on they way as I just couldn’t eat it. For anyone concerned if there are better restaurants ahead on this stretch, there are. Menu uploaded for Nonna’s which seemed much better from what I noticed was getting served. Unfortunately I didn’t have time left as I had to board and wasted my time at Saison.

Doesn’t get much worse than this. You have to order via the qr code, and there’s a 60% chance you’ll just never get your food. Just terrible, do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else. Don’t lose your money in this slot machine.

Overpriced and poor service. My mimosa was not cold. Beers are $15. Food is mediocre. We waited a long time just to get water. Our server was kind and that’s why we gave an extra star. But service was slow and tables were not cleaned. Another staff member was extremely rude and dismissive. I’d rather just pay to go to a lounge next time even if it is just for an hour.

The worst Bloody Mary I’ve ever had, I didn’t even finish it! Horrible. The fries were terrible, super greasy and burnt. I don’t recommend this place. From afar it looks beautiful, but the food and drinks are terrible.

We were the annoying customers who didn’t want to do the QR code ordering. Our server was friendly and helpful, and, for the first time ever, I had a ‘well done’ burger that was still juicy. Extra kudos to our great Haitian server (sorry we didn’t catch your name) who went searching for mayo for my wife’s chips. Thank you to everyone who attended to us.

Flight was delayed 8 hours so I thought I would splurge on a nice dinner. The French onion soup was spot on (highly recommend!) but the sea bass was so so (tasted more like trout and not sea bass). Service was friendly, not great and not at the level I would have expected for a high end (based on the prices) restaurant, even if it was at the airport.

Excellent food and atmosphere. Stopped in for some breakfast before my flight. The restaurant has a wonderful French cafe feel to it with lovely decor and comfortable seating and tables as well as a nice large bar with seating. Tried their eggs any way plate with a choice of meat and it comes with potatoes and toast and it was delicious. Eggs were cooked perfectly , light and fluffy and delicious with wonderful potatoes and Canadian bacon and toast and portions were large and filling. You get your money’s worth. We also ordered their bagel and lox with a side of scrambled eggs and it came with a side salad. Bagel and lox with cream cheese was excellent and the eggs were perfect with a nice salad. Coffee was very good and not weak and it was wonderful. Service was fast and friendly. I Love the background music that fit the restaurant theme so well and made the experience very nice. Very pleased with everything. Loved it.
