Stopped here on a whim… the chosen restaurant of my group was far too busy for their liking.
I’m VERY glad for that happening!
The food was delicious (I had spicy crab Maki and beef/chicken fried rice). The servers were very friendly and helpful, offering plenty of advice and assistance with the unfamiliar menu. The music was tasteful and also played at a reasonable volume.
I will definitely come back again!

Decent Japanese restaurant if you have a need to fill your asian taste buds. A bit pricey. Husband was thrown off by his Katsu Chicken as he’s never had it made with a white meat, had always been a dark meat any where else he’s ordered it. The chicken yakisoba was very flavorful! Kids menu only has two options on it but I feel you could put something together with the side options.

My husband and I went here for an early date night. We arrived around 4, the restaurant was empty. I ordered the seafood Ramen with a spicy tuna roll. It was absolutely delicious! Our server KiKi was very attentive. The restaurant filled up quickly while we were there. I would highly recommend and I will definitely be back!

Ordered their spicy salmon roll sushi for pick up. Super easy and super friendly. Only giving 4 stars because I think the sushi was just decent. Would love to try other food from here though.

My visit to Furin in Valpo was honestly one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. The service was terrible. The waitresses were not personable or attentive at all. Our sushi took over 40 minutes to arrive, and when it finally did, one of the rolls was made incorrectly. We ended up waiting another 30+ minutes for the replacement.
To make things worse, one of the waitresses actually spilled our sushi roll all over the table, and we couldn’t eat it obviously. She didn’t offer to remake it or even take it off the bill, which was unbelievable. We also never got water refills, and when they took our chopsticks away, they never brought new ones back even after we asked.
At the end of the meal, the bill was simply dropped on our table, no “thank you,” no “goodnight,” not even a smile. The complete lack of hospitality summed up the whole experience.
Overall, completely unprofessional service and a huge waste of time and money. I won’t be coming back and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a good sushi experience.

As a person with 20+ years in customer service… I KNOW what it’s suppose to look like .. I very well know how to read the room too. My husband and I wasn’t greeted with a hello! A lady with gloves on … Who was doing takeout delivery orders.. was our “server”… Which I can pretty much guarantee you she wasn’t supposed to be. It was our table along with another 1. The young lady SERVED them with water, a smile, conversation, and even took their order. Us.. oh we was left sitting there .. the only nice conversation , a smile , and service we got was from the young lady that was clearing our table. I’m disappointed but NOT shocked! I definitely stopped the young lady who gave table 2 great service.. and told her we’re nice people. Like for real… And unfortunately, folks STILL act a certain way because of our skin color! Smh… Again I’m very observant and I definitely noticed how she treated them vs us! Lastly, WE STILL tipped anyway! But bets believe she sure got the tip off the table! LOL. Yeaaaa we will NOT return there. It was our first and last time. Servers know matter white, black, blue , or yellow treat your guest the same .. DON’T stereotype! Not all black people are mean , aggressive, and have attitude FYI. A BLESSED, Prosperous, and a Happy New Year.

Went to celebrate my birthday this past Friday evening. We were immediately sat at the bar and got service almost instantly, the bar tender was very understanding of our slowness given we’d never been to this location. Tried the Tokyo Tea, Fried Spring Rolls, and Katsu Chicken. Everything was amazing, and I even liked the leftovers (which is a rarity). The bathrooms were clean and it was a generally great experience! Would reccomend!!

When I first walked in, I thought this place was really cool and had some decorations. The air was fine. I didn’t smell anything unwanted
I wish there was name tags on the people who work there so i dont get confused on who is working there, to the right is where the menus they will seat you it was a bit awkward silence but she asked me if i am dinning in or not
When I was seated, they would give you chopsticks, and the menu and separate menu of the liquor and would be back to give you water. They have pepsi products
I ordered Dr. Pepper then crab ragoons, they were 10/10, they are better than the China buffet ones, then I ordered the seafood Ramen they do remind me of one of my favorite places to go to for Ramen sadly they shut down forever, the Ramen was perfectly cooked and there was crab in it was good flavor with the Ramen they had bamboo sprouts they were good but I personally would ask it to be removed next time
I felt comfortable and welcomed. I never felt I was pressured into making a decision on the food choice I wanted they are very patient, and they checked up on me but not too often to be bother some
My order total was 33.71 for me (including tax)
The people around me was comfortable I’m not saying that I was listening on there conversation.
But my suggestion is this place should try and serve Boba
This place is very good and I would suggest going here if you ever wanted Ramen
