I’ve been to many different acia bowl and smoothy spots on the Hudson valley and NYC (I work in NYC) and everywhere in between and Shimmy’s beats them all! I’ll join the choir on the hours though. Don’t worry Shimmy’s, it’s not a bad thing. We just want you to be open longer so we can have more of your fantastic treats! Easier said than done, I’m sure. As for the bowls, I prefer less sweet, healthier bowls (most spots are too sweet and use added sugar). Shimmy’s uses the best ingredients and best texture (not grainy/ no ice chips, not too sweet) they’re so creamy you’d think there is dairy. Please support this business. They really care about what they do, and it shows!

Stopped by Shimmy’s this morning for breakfast and it was delicious. The açaí was the perfect blend and not overly sugary, and they have plenty of options for toppings as well. They have a bunch of other menu items such as smoothies, salads, and paninis too, definitely looking forward to coming back again soon!

I love Shimmy’s. The staff are so nice and accommodating and they make amazing stuff. I usually go there for smoothies and let me say, I love them. If you want a good smoothie, acai bowl, salad, pitaya bowl, boba, etc., go to Shimmy’s

I’ve been meaning to try Shimmy’s for while! I ordered a a smoothie and it was very good! The people who work there are so nice and want to get to know you! I had a full conversation with one of them while checking out! Definitely coming again, especially since it’s down the street from me
