I ordered the sliced brisket sandwich. It was extremely dry! The meat had no flavor. I tried adding the hickory sauce that came on the side, it barely made up for the meat. The fries were ok at best, I threw most of my meal in the trash.

The food smelled fabulous and looked good but the taste… ugghh. We were SO disappointed. He Got the chicken sandwich with fries and we swear it was chicken, straight out of a can with zero spices or seasonings. Fries were ok. I got polish sausage , baked beans and green beans. I was expecting the smoked sausage to taste “smoked” , from a BBQ, but no. It was a basic polish sausage that was probably baked and put on the plate. No different flavor than if I had cooked it at home. The baked beans were very good and the green beans were okay. I would have enjoyed country beans with onions and some kind of pork , a bit more. The staff was great and the atmosphere was great. The restaurant was clean and well put together. I won’t say I will never try it again , because I always give the benefit of the doubt on the first try but it’s not a place I will be rushing to recommend i always like to try something new and local on a trip. This was the only time we ate out in a three day time period .In itself , a bummer !

Service is always good here. I love the French fries and ranch. I usually get the brisket sandwich. Some days are definitely better than others with the meat being more tender or the seasoning being better. Fairly priced compared to other places and definitely cheaper than JC bbq.

Billy Sims BBQ went above and beyond for me as someone with celiac disease. The staff made sure everything I ordered was safe and free from cross-contamination. They opened new items in the back, had an allergen list right at the register, and walked me through what I could safely eat. Everyone was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared. It’s rare to feel this safe eating out — I will absolutely be back!

My wife and I ordered the 4 rib meal, a chicken taco and two stacker deserts; banana wafer and cherry cheesecake. The food was perfect for us. We will definitely return. The restaurant was clean and staff was friendly. I also ordered a bowl if chile. I personally liked it and didn’t find it too spicy, and I really can’t eat spicy foods. Keep up the good work. This is our favorite place to eat in Junction City.

The pulled pork was tender and good, the ribs were fall of the bone good. I also got the Mac n cheese (delicious), and green beans ( Smokey flavor with a hint of vinegar) soul food ish, and a banana stacker. The stacker had thick creamy whipped cream with banana pudding and vanilla wafers. It was good. Their sweet tea is on point! Sweet and just right. I preferred to mix their original BBQ sauce with the hickory flavor. I’m from Georgia so we like it sweet and full of flavor.

The food wasn’t bad at all. The meats were a little dried out, but thankfully there was plenty of BBQ sauce to put on it which helped out. Other than that I would definitely visit again!

Food was delicious, the brisket could use some moisture. The pulled pork was great and the polish sausage was the best. The fry was okay. The Mac and cheese was delicious but came in like a 3 ounce container. The BBQ sauce was amazing. Over all the BBQ was good and was not disappointed. 7 out of 10.

Momma wanted bar-b-que and Billy Sims served us the best bar-b-que lunch. The ribs were cooked PERFECT. Meat was moist and fell right off the bone. Their mac n cheese and cole slaw definitely a must try. Had the brownie stacker for dessert…DELICIOUS!!!

Food was not the best felt like we paid allot for a dinner that was basically kid sized. The chicken was very dry only thing that saved it was the BBQ sauce. First time ever trying their food probably won’t come back, very disappointed. Another thing… Drinks should be included in the Dinner option!!
