Tasty sweet and savory Philippine cakes and breads. Owner was nice. It’s a bit hidden.

It’s takeout only place with all the food in pre-packages spread on a plastic table. So, not a fancy place… in fact a bit run down.

It is hidden among the cars in the parking space for a local hardware store (accidentally found this while visiting the hardware store).

Worth trying again… but check the timings and days it’s open (it’s closed 3 days a week.

Filipino goodies!

I just found this place not too long ago, thanks to yelp. The first time I went, I got lost because I couldn’t find the main entrance. The bakery is located in a neighborhood, so when you used your gps you are kinda skeptical where you’re going because there’s bunch of houses there. As soon as you go inside the bread smell welcomes you. Its basically your going in to somebody’s house that they converted their living room and kitchen to a barkery. Its pretty neat, because you can see fresh goodies being made and baked.

They have a sample table where you can try the different goodies they offer and once in awhile they will give you a try of some freshly bake bread that just came out from the oven. Yum! Don’t come here hungry because you will end up buying so much. Lol! Whenever we come here we go to panic buying mode. But the goodies their selling is all worth it and really good. You wont get disappointed.

Visiting this bakery feels like you’re in the know and up to no good. The location is not obvious other than a small home bakery sign outside the door. You ring the bell, and you’re quickly greeted by the owner, who welcomes you in and offers delicious samples. The selection of baked goods is small, but good, and everything is fresh. Not everything is priced, but expect everything to be in the $5-$10 range. The chocolate crinkle cookies are fantastic, but they’ll set you back $10, which is well worth it IMO.

Such wonderful staff. The smells and atmosphere are just incredible! And the coffee is some of the best you’ll ever have, so smooth and flavorful I drank it black (and I always put cream and sugar in my coffee). This little shop is a great find!

Haven’t tried many Filipino bakeries so this was a first for me and boy was it a great surprise. Ensaymadas were good (Yema + Ube flavors). My nieces liked the Ube ensaymada. But when I came back another day for the Ube muffins + Guava muffin, very moist and delicious + cream cheese! Coming with Asian tastes I prefer not too sweet and not too heavy on the cream. This bakery makes me want to search for other Filipino bakeries in other areas and try out their stuff. I think it has set the bar very high. It’s not a economic choice if you’re looking for the cheapest of things but I would prefer to have this on special occasions. Can’t wait to try the Ube pie or other stuff.

Either way, come and visit. The owner is really nice and it smells great in there.

As soon as you walk in you’re greeted with a smile. The coffee is always fresh and made from rare beans shipped from the Philippines, and tastes rich and is a real cup of coffee. Their breads and bakery items are fresh, tasty and a treat. Give this place a try and you Will be back for more. Can you tell I’m a fan?

I’ve never tried Philipino baked goods or Ube before and so this was an adventure. We got an assortment of things to try and they were quite tasty.
There is a $5 minimum on credit cards so we picked a few things.
I had questions to satisfy my curiosity and the lady helping us was very helpful and friendly.
The building is actually a bit hidden behind where Dean’s breakfast place used to be but there was a sign on the sidewalk that caught our attention and points the way.
