Their (the kids) food was great and good portions but mine had something to be desired. The breakfast potatoes were way overcooked. Eggs were good. However, my fault on ordering scrapple though. I didn’t look at the prices well enough. Nonetheless, it was 5.00 for one very thin slice about the size of an index card but was like the 1/3 the thickness of a slice of bread. And 5 for a glass of OJ. I know costs have gone up but that was excessive for the amount given even with that in mind.
The staff was very friendly and attentive and the place was nice and clean.
Unfortunately it was probably our last visit.
The restaurant was dirty feeling. Ceiling tiles were stained, carpet looked like it had been there since at least the 80’s.
Like I said, my husband really enjoyed his food, he had a scramble bowl. Our waitress was friendly the three times we saw her. They only accept cash payments, ATM at the front, pass those fees right back to the customer one way or another . Confusing set up, not sure where to stand so hostess will seat you, where to pay. Thanks to the guy sitting at the front door who told us where to go to be seated.
We enjoy finding Mom and Pop out of the way places to eat. I have to advise to avoid this one.
We did not complain about our meal, and we paid full price for our meal and we tipped, we aren’t those kind of people. I just have to be honest, for $14.00 I expected to at least see 1 blueberry.
Cons:More expensive than I was expecting from a diner experience (about $20 without tip) and they only take cash or Venmo.
Overall not bad, just not the place I’ll be able to do a weekly breakfast which is what I was looking for.
