Been sometime since I’ve ordered food from halligan’s and used to be really good. Ordered through grubhub. alarm burger medium. (Came burnt on one half of the burger. Cheesesteak which was good. Ordered kids chicken fingers and were sent adult chicken finger appetizer which didnt come with fries instead. Called and they made amends after arguing with me.

Solid pub fare. Been here many times and it does not disappoint. The bartender is always very welcoming and helpful. Pull up a stool, have the fantastic wings and a beer. One of my favorites in Warwick.

Came here about an hour or so before closing. This place was suggested to me because I was looking for somewhere nearby that’s open later on a Sunday, lol. While I didn’t get to spend much time here, I loved it anyway! I’m super glad it was recommended to me. The food was great, the service was great and the music was great, too! The next time I’m in the area, I plan on coming back.

No wonder this place is dead.. Rude and unprofessional wait staff especially the blond with long hair.. took the time to phone them for last call for kitchen and bar. Told me 9:30 for food and 11:00 for bar.
Needless to say was not like that .. we will go back but definitely not her as our server. Owner needs to re train staff and show a little more respect for patrons .. remember without your patrons you don’t have a paycheck ..I still left 20% gratuity even after never getting the rest of our food. I went there tonight after being there several times before over the years. And we were totally ignored. We waited almost 2 hours for our meal and never got it till we finally left. They had the nerve to charge us for our drinks without even a discount. We took a friend with us and had to order a pizza and have it at home. We told our friend that he would love this place as we do. Bad first expression. Would think twice before going again hoping they fired the waitress.

Halligan’s has quickly become our absolute favorite spot for a casual dinner and drinks – and for good reason! From the moment you walk in, you can tell this place is something special.
Let’s start with the drinks. The cocktails are fantastic, a testament to the bartenders’ evident pride in their craft. You can tell they pay attention to the details, resulting in perfectly balanced and delicious drinks. It’s refreshing to find a place where the bartenders clearly care about what they’re serving.
The food is equally impressive. Everything we ordered came out hot, fresh, and remarkably fast. We were so tempted by the appetizer menu that we ended up ordering mostly from there, and we were not disappointed. Every dish was flavorful and satisfying. I particularly want to shout out the Caesar salad – the lettuce was incredibly crisp and fresh, a clear sign of quality ingredients.
And the best part? The prices are incredibly reasonable, especially considering the generous portion sizes. We even had leftovers to take home, which is always a bonus!
While I regret not snapping any photos (we were too busy enjoying ourselves!), trust me when I say the food and drinks are as good as they sound.
If you’re looking for a friendly, welcoming atmosphere with delicious food, expertly crafted drinks, and excellent value, Halligan’s Public House is a must-try. We’ve found our new go-to spot, and we can’t wait to go back!

Ordered through GubHub. Don’t mind paying the GH charge but Halligan’s charging 20% more for a smaller portion than what you get at the restaurant — not cool.

Visiting friends in Warwick, and couldn’t pass up the chance of having some good old shepherd’s pie… and it was delicious. Hubby tried the chicken chipotle, a daily special, and it was cooked nicely, very moist, with a sauce that had a decent spicy kick to it. He had a Smithwick’s which was fresh and delicious. And it was all served in a very timely fashion by a friendly waitress.
