Walked in and was greeted warmly and sat at a table for 4. Waters were delivered to us and drink orders were taken. Food orders were taken once the drinks were brought to us. Server was very pleasant during the entire experience. The appetizers were brought hot n fresh and were very good. Food followed shortly & was also very very good.

Will not be coming back to this place.. there was nothing Thai about the Thai Almond Chicken. The sauce was a weird flavorless brown oily mess. And the “chicken” was rock hard nuggets like you’d get at Buffalo Wild Wings. Be warned… we left $65 poorer and still hungry

Visiting from Charlotte, NC and we love Thai cuisine so stopped by here. We ordered Masaman curry, red curry fried rice, pad see u, mango sticky rice and one thing from kids menu, I have to say we have had better Thai food in NC. Food was just okay but dessert (mango sticky rice) was horrible, the coconut cream was watery and it just didn’t taste right. The other thing that was surprising and not acceptable was the service charge, why do we have to pay the number they put it in if we didn’t like the food as much, maybe I wanted to pay more or less of the already added number. Not coming here again.

Disappointing. We’ve patronized this place since it opened. It was ALWAYS good. Last couple of times it’s been tasteless. TomYum soup used to have whole shrimps. Now it has a few pieces that I had to hunt for and the broth had no flavor. Massaman curry was flat.
We’re used to much more flavor.
Feel bad about giving this review as this was our go to Thai choice.

I took my mother out for Christmas here. The food was good until I found a hair. I naturally lost my appetite, so I had them remake my meal and took it to go. They entirely forgot to add spice to it even though I had clearly stated to add it (again). Since there are so few options for thai, I decided to try them again and ordered the same dish to go. Wouldn’t you know it, I FOUND ANOTHER DAMN HAIR! How infuriating!!!

Delicious! Every single thing we ordered was yummy. The service was excellent and our food came out quickly (we came for lunch). We had the Tom Kha, pineapple fried rice, shrimp pad see-ew, and drunken noodles.

My wife and I ordered take out and so we did not dine in the restaurant. We ordered a coconut curry and a vegetarian dish. We both agreed it was the worst Thai food we’ve ever had… we actually thew half of it out as we couldn’t stomach it after a few bites. Here are the main issues:
–The tofu was WAY overcooked… deep fried to the point of a rubber car tire texture.
–The curry sauce had very little flavor and a consistency pretty close to water. It was bad.
–The veggies were overcooked; not flavorful and tasty
–the rice was ok but average at best.

Also they had limited options for health conscious vegetarians compared to other thai and Asian restaurants.
Unfortunately there are only 2 or 3 Thai food options in Travers City. This one should be avoided.

Absolutely fantastic food. Ordered the vegetable fried rice meal with hot tea and crab wontons, and a small vegetable egg drop soup. Crab wontons were delicious, warm melty center and crisp flavorful shell. They were so good I decided to add on some of the fried veggie spring rolls. Veggie egg drop soup was great, full of cabbage, carrots and egg— reminds me of the soup I loved as a kid from the Thai restaurant that used to be across from Meijer (then became Northpointe Motors). Fried rice was fantastic, loaded with fresh veggies. Since moving to Minnesota, I usually go to Hunan when I am home, but since they’re still carry out only I decided to finally give Thai Kitchen a try to have dine in and my goodness am I glad I did. Totally different flavor profile, so now I have two favorites in TC. ❤️ I’ll be back soon, with my local family so they can try it too!

Absolutely loved each time I’ve been here. The food is amazing, the service very polite and funny. The looks of the place is calming and charming. But best of all BOBA!!!!
And they had a very cute little fish. The tank could use some work though but that’s not to go against the place as a whole.

Great Thai food. Very friendly staff and a very clean restaurant. Meal portions are pretty good too. Thai tea was the best. Would recommend this one.
