Decided to check out Annie’s Soul Food today on a whim and didn’t realize how new this location was. I also had no idea they had an existing location in Midwest City, but wow! They did NOT disappoint!
I ordered the catfish meal with collard greens and jalapeño cheddar bites as my sides. The catfish was so well seasoned it didn’t need any sauce at all. It came out hot, crispy, and fast. The collard greens were great too! Maybe I’m just unlucky, but it feels like anytime I order greens somewhere else they’re never quite right. These were actually really good. The jalapeño cheddar bites were also solid, crispy, very cheesy, with just a little bit of heat.
I was dining by myself and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The playlist was great, the restaurant was clean, and the staff was friendly and attentive.
The plates are a little more expensive than some other places, but honestly it was worth it. I’d love to come back late on a weekend sometime because it definitely seems like the kind of place you come not just for good food, but for a good time as well.

Went in 11/29 and was not disappointed. Greeted immediately when I walked in. Got the smothered pork chops with greens and jalapeño poppers. The smothered pork chops were amazing. You can tell the prop chopped is seasoned before they cook it in the gravy. The greens were so good. Didn’t need to add anything. The whole meal was wonderful. Can’t wait to go back.

OMG! This place is a gem. Loved the food! My husband and I ate an early dinner there. The lady that brought our food asked if we needed anything else. Just when I was about to ask for a knife, she said, “You won’t need a knife. Trust me.” She was right. I ordered the chicken & dressing with collard greens & yams. My husband got the smothered pork chop with collard greens & dressing. Neither one of us needed a knife, the meat was so tender. I was even given some cranberry sauce on the side when she noticed there was none on my plate. They’re not open Monday thru Thursday, but it was worth the drive from Moore. The oxtails were melt-in-your-mouth tender, the greens were perfectly seasoned, and the yams had just the right sweetness. The rice and gravy brought it all together like a Sunday dinner at home. Auntie’s Soul Food knows how to serve real, authentic flavor with love in every dish. Highly recommend!

The food was PHENOMENAL! Such a depth of flavor and umami exploding with each bite. I had the smothered ox tail and the meat was fall off the bone and so tender and succulent. I wanted to suck on the bones, if only I wouldn’t get strange looks I would have!
The music is soft and pleasant and the staff is amazingly attentive and the history on the walls is so interesting.

Now, first off, we have to address the price because they are proud of the food and quality. But let me tell you, it was worth every dime. For those of you who remember Breille’s Bistro on 23rd (not the Air Depot version) this reminds me of that. Aunties had full flavor, good portions, and now I’m leave the table thinking why did I do this to myself again. Lol so good thank you for making Midwest City your home.

My first time eating here. I ordered on Door Dash because it’s a lazy Sunday for me but next time I will be walking in cause babbbbbby I had the beef Tips with rice and gravy, yams, jalapeno cheddar poppers, greens n cornbread with the “surprise” Kool aid. The only surprise to me was EVERY THANG SLAPPED. I MEAN EVERY DRIP DROP of what I ordered hit the spot. If I HAD to say something bad I just be a hater cause I can’t find NUFFIN
