First off we had to wait for the bartender to seat us. There was a sign to notify us of this. He was not the most pleasant person to greet people, and being a bartender I was surprised. We were a family of 6 ,but didn’t have to wait long for a table. The table had a yellow plastic table cloth and was very unstable. Burger King has just about the same Mexican atmosphere as Wylie Chayote. If not for the menu , you never would have guessed you were in a Mexican restaurant. Maybe we went on an off night because there was not one person who worked there who seemed or appeared to be of Mexican descent. Our waitress was very pleasant and had a great attitude. The food was average and took some time to get to us. I ordered the burrito that came with a side of rice and beans. The rice was bland and the beans were cold. The side portions are very small and the prices are not proportional to the food. Too much for too little. If you are looking for authentic Mexican food with authentic Mexican atmosphere then this is not the place for you. If you want a restaurant that has Mexican food this may be the place for you. My overall experience was ok but not the Mexican experience that I was hoping for. We drove out of way to go there because it is not near our residence which also made our experience disappointing
