We placed an order at the drive through for a few items, which included a large $9.99 sundae for my daughter. After getting home and realizing we received a small one scoop sundae and paid for the large, I called. The person I spoke to was very kind, confirmed a large sundae is to have 2 scoops, apologized, and was very empathetic. She communicated understanding how frustrating that would be. I agreed to drive back to the store for them to make it correctly. She asked my name and told me to just bring the product or receipt. I returned with both, gave her my receipt, she apologized and communicated my name to the employee dishing out the ice cream, who then asked if I brought the (small) sundae back. The window employee asked me for it, I handed it to her, she set it onto the counter for a few seconds, then placed it into the tub of dirty dishes. Really?! I drove all the way back for my daughter’s sundae to be replaced as the large I paid for to begin with,, set my ice cream aside at home, for Oberweis to fix their mistake and then they take the small sundae back to throw it away. Oberweis didn’t make it better. They made it worse, because now I’m very upset that this is the way I’m treated as a paying customer. They couldn’t send the small sundae with me for my inconvenience of driving all the way back to fix their error? I expressed my frustration that they took it back to throw it away & the ice cream server said I’m sorry. Our policy is we usually take the product back. This poor customer service did not sit well with me. I’m beyond upset. I wouldn’t be upset if the ice cream server wasn’t acting so petty for having to fix the mistake.

There’s not many places that offer an apple/apple pie dessert so I was really excited when I walked in here and they had an apple crisp sundae! The apples were nice and warm, the pecans were amazing (most places they’re dry or stale). Sadly couldn’t finish it but it was worth every dollar

The shakes here are so large. My son ordered a chocolate shake & said it was very tasty. Indoor & outdoor seating with inside games too! Make sure you look on the wall they have a flavor of the day which is a much cheaper price than the regular scoop. There are table games inside with chess and checkers too.

Although the ice cream is expensive, you can’t beat the quality of it. The ice cream is absolutely delicious the staff is friendly and helpful, too. I only gave it 4 stars due to the price (it was $17 to get a large brownie sundae and a butter pecan ice cream in a waffle cone).
