Nice small place for a breakfast before the helicopter glacier tour, or the nearby truck/boat glacier tour. It was nice to have this place for some food if you come from out of town for your tours!

Raven’s Perch has a nice ambience and great views of the Knik River and the surrounding mountains especially on the deck. There is also a small bar in the dining room. Service was fairly prompt and food was good especially for the location that is rather remote. For the only restaurant onsite it’s not a bad choice. Salmon was tasty and salad fresh.

Beautiful property and vista. Restaurant menu solid with popular choices and all-Alaskan in selections – which was refreshing. The homemade fries were particular yum! The wait times and overworked waitress delayed all, but understandable in current work-hire environment. Oh – and music playing a fun folksy hit mix.

Nice place, great view of Knic river, glaciers, and helicopters. Food was fairly good, served on paper plates with plastic utensils. No table service, you order at counter, serve your own meal, and bus your own table. Smashburger was fair, wife said it might be a Bill Gates vegetable burger. I think she’s right, no beef taste, kind of mushy, not sure what it was. Overall, food was cooked nicely, portions average, not too small, but not real ample either. Probably not going back, except for maybe a helicopter ride at some point. Was a nice drive and the view is excellent. Best part of the whole experience. Was nice to see 4 helicopters come in and land

My husband and I stayed just down the road during our honeymoon trip and figured we’d try this restaurant out. Sevice was just ok, but we both had the loaded mac n cheese and it was really good. Very rich and maybe a little too saucy, but yummy all the same. It was certainly nice to take in the beautiful mountain views while we ate.

Great spot to chill, plonk yourself down at the bar or any table in or outdoor and take a deep breath, enjoy the peace and tranquility!
Great find!
I ate the Cobb Salad too quickly and forgot a picture, but it was just what I felt like! Lots of mixture of greens, bacon, chicken and lovely dressing.
The fish tacos are great too.
The sparkling Viognier and the Tempranillo was great.
The Caremark cake is a must try

5 of us ate dinner together with a good assortment of the menu ordered. I had the steak which was cooked to a very good medium rare as ordered, and the coffee rub was good but not too overpowering. The daily vegetable was asparagus served along side of the mashed potatoes. The only comment made by everyone at the table is that several items were very under seasoned. The mashed potatoes needed salt added terribly, the asparagus was cooked with garlic but lacked any other seasoning. Combined we had 2 steaks, the salmon, scallops, and the Loaded Mac and Cheese. Again the food was very good, but did require seasoning at the table which was kind of disappointing given the type of restaurant and price point of the entrees. The staff was superb and did an amazing job throughout the dinner service. She was very friendly and knew the menu very well. She was able to answer questions and make suggestions when one of our guests was having trouble deciding what to order.
We had dinner the 13th of July, 2022.

I would never say this unless it was justified, but eat before you come here. I ordered a beer and a glass of water and it took fifteen minutes to get it, and was told they were basically almost out of everything except for a few beers on tap. We arrived before the dinner crowd and we had to wait over thirty minutes for our food while we watched people that arrived after us receive their meals and their desserts. Our waitress finally came out and apologized and said that our meal tickets never printed out to the cook so she had to resubmit it. Ok fine. Whatever. When our burgers and fries finally arrived it was very hard to justify paying $18 for what was on my plate (attached photo). We overheard a server telling a very disappointed customer that they were out of cheesecake and the customer said they drove all the way there just for the cheesecake.
As far as the food goes, the few fries that we got were very salty and soggy. My burger tasted like it had rancid cheese on it but I had ordered pepper Jack so I couldn’t figure out where that flavor was coming from. My friend ordered blue cheese on his burger so I feel they may have accidentally put blue cheese on mine then realized the mistake and scraped it off and added the pepper Jack. That’s the only way I could justify that taste. I ate half of it because I was so hungry.
I guess you are paying for the view. I’ve had way better burgers and fries in the bush for $20.
I gave two stars only because the front employees were so kind and had smiles on their faces. Obviously my food experience is a result of poor management but the employees are doing the best that they can with what they have to deal with so don’t take it out on them.
I would have been more than happy paying $30 for a beer and a burger if it was served timely and tasted good. If you decide to eat here just lower your expectations so you’re not too disappointed.

Great spot for a bite like the soup of the day was white bean fennel which was epic and a flatbread pizza. Outstanding spot to bring out a laptop and get some work in while overlooking mountains. Would return, mostly due to Micah’s attentive service.
