The food was great. I got a breakfast taco for $3.89 (I think) and it was loaded with fillings (I got egg, sausage, potato, and shredded cheese). The tortilla itself was very good. It felt and tasted homemade.

The service was pretty mid. I started off with a man, and I don’t know if he was new or what, but he either absolutely did not know what to do or was pretending to be incompetent to get out of doing work.
First, he had to get help from the woman who was working to even start making the taco. After she said to put the sausage and egg onto the tortilla (kinda wild that he didn’t know to do that), instead of putting the sausage on the tortilla, he started breaking it up into the egg container (so maybe don’t eat here if you’re a strict vegetarian, lol). She noticed what he was doing and verbally corrected him (with very clear instructions) and he just kinda gave up and walked away, so she had to take over. She was clearly frustrated, which is totally understandable given she was already doing other work. I hope she sees this review and knows that she was totally valid to be frustrated, because what do you mean you don’t know how to make a taco?!

If this guy is a new employee, he needs someone to train him better. But also, if he gets so confused about scooping prepared food into a prepared tortilla, maybe he needs a role with different responsibilities.

This is in an Exxon Station that’s a 7-11. They pre-make many of their popular items and keep them in a warmer up front when you enter. They also have a full kitchen, grill, order-taking area in the back. I simply got a chorizo and egg sandwich from the warmer, but I asked the girl at the grill for their spicy salsa, which she said was their verde.

The salsa was very nice… had a slight kick and tasted good. The sandwich was nice. It was freshly made soon before I got it from the warmer.

The staff here was friendly. And if you’re staying in the Aloft or Hilton Garden Inn – This place is in the parking lot of both.

Ok so this is located inside a 7-11 attached to an Exxon gas station. Despite my reservations, I ordered something anyways. Let me tell you though the food was excellent – very “dee-lish” as I like to say with very fresh, copious ingredients. The people were nice too, if that matters. The prices were low. Honestly, it puts Chipotle to shame (which let’s face it, is honestly not hard to do). I’ve not tried anything from their breakfast menu but I’m certain that’s good too, given the quality of the food I did order. Don’t be fooled though in thinking their hours are that of a 7-11, they’re not so order extra and save the extra for later….yes, it’s worth it.

I think I had a more positive experience than some other reviewers. We gave Laredo Taco a try for the first time while in Ashburn visiting relatives. Who would have thought that a good taco stand was in a 7-11? We had the chicken tacos and the steak tacos. The dough was pre-made but fresh and then onto the flattop for browning. The ingredients were fresh as well–tasty meat, crunchy peppers. Choice of garnishes and salsas. We did the 2 for $7 which included a Big Gulp drink, and had no hassle from the cashier on pricing. Looking forward to our next trip to Ashburn area to try them again. Skip the fried chicken–eat the tacos! BTW, our taco maker was quite helpful and we loved her service.

Delicious! I loved the tortillas for the tacos. Some of the best I’ve ever had.

I don’t know why I have to argue with the two managers/owners of the gas station to get the advertised deal of 2 tacos with a drink for $7. They often ring it up at full price or tell me that my taco fillings aren’t eligible despite the advertised price not mentioning a price difference. Really tired of dealing with them or having to ask about their advertised deal. Seems like they want to nickel and dime you. They will get whatever money they can out of you.

literally gas station food. I drove by it several times before i realized it’s inside the gas station convenience store. so no tables or service, leaving just the food to speak for itself. i am torn on which standard i should use to rate them. they a advertise as a restaurant, so i rate them as such. as a convenience store, the rating would have 2 more stars. i had a bean and cheese taco. the tortilla was good, the cheese was a decent quality Jack, and that was about it for the high points. i added potatoes, and they tasted ok, but had been in the warmer too long and were rubbery. the true low point was the beans. you can’t convince me that they weren’t straight out of a can.

I knew that some 7-11s in Texas had these thanks to a Mikey Chen YouTube video, so I was pleasantly surprised to find this one in VA. The flour tortillas are hand-rolled right in front of you, which definitely sets the tacos here apart from other gas station food. I had a shrimp fajita taco and a chicken fajita taco, and they definitely were a step above typical gas station food. Would drive out here just for that.

Was spending the night in Ashburn, VA and the hotel check-in said they were pretty good. Thought I would give a try. I ordered the ground beef, pork carnitas, beef fajita tacos. All 3 were very, very salty. Out of the 3, the beef fajita taco was the best. When I ordered and brought them back to my room (less than 5 min) tacos were cold.

Yes it’s gas station food but this was awful. Got a quesadilla. Tortilla had a good crunchy texture but the taste was not good. Way too much cheese. Just a big glob of tasteless gooey nothing. I only got a few bites in before gagging. They didn’t even bother to cut my quesadilla!

I’ll avoid this place next time.
