We recently visited Greedy’s in DeSoto, TX to catch Game 7 of the NBA playoffs (Pacers vs. Thunder), and it did not disappoint! While we didn’t order any food this time, we were thoroughly impressed with everything else the spot had to offer.
First off, monitors galore! Wherever you sit, you’ve got a clear view of the action. The energy in the place was just right, great music playing during commercial breaks and halftime, keeping the vibe fun and lively.
Shoutout to Jazz, our server for adult beverages, fantastic service, super friendly and attentive without being overbearing. She kept the drinks flowing and the mood light.
What really stood out were the happy hour prices; seriously amazing. You can enjoy the game, drinks, and great company without breaking the bank.

Service was good but the food was basic. This location does not have a drink menu so it makes it difficult to know what you can order. I dont mind paying a higher price but the food and esthetic needs to match. This place isnt it. To each their own but we certainly dont recommend it and will not be going back.

Highly Frustrated & Disappointed Due To Driving 30 Minutes To A Business That States They Close @ 2AM To Arrive @ 1:15AM & The Doors Are Locked- Expecting To Go In, We Stand At The Door & See If It’s Open The Doors Are *Locked* The Open Sign Is Even Off & Seeing 3 Associates Standing Behind The Counter Chatting *Doing Nothing* & A Black Security Guard , He Comes Over To The Door And Talks Through The Window & States “Were Closed” We Point Out It Says On The DOOR & ONLINE U All Are Open Until 2AM & The Security Says “Nope We’re Closed” & Walks Of So Honestly I’m Not Sure How Any Of Those Associates Got Hired On To The Job At This Business Let Along Still Have A Job. Very Unprofessional On The Security Officers Part & The Business As A Whole. I Was Recommended This Place & Heard Good Things About It But …No Just Based Of The Interaction W/ The Security And The Lazy Associates I Don’t Recommend Anyone Come Here. A friend recommended checking on Greedy’s so we stopped in on Friday night and had a truly wonderful time! The music/DJ was out of this world! I heard songs that I hadn’t heard in years, songs that took me back! They have a great happy hour special on drinks until 9pm which is really cool. The drinks are good too, they don’t short you! The food is out of this world good! I had the catfish, and it quite possibly might have been the best catfish I’ve ever had, it was fried to perfection, seasoned well, and the portion was huge (2 big fillets)! I definitely got my money worth! I would definitely recommend getting here early because they fill up quickly! The service was good, my only issue was that there only appeared to be one server/waitress taking care of the floor area, this wasn’t a problem at first, but as they got busier, she came around less and less, and at much longer intervals, and she begin forgetting to bring drinks out (toward the end of the evening I was waiting like 20 minutes for a drink) towards the end of happy hour it was almost impossible to get a drink so I had to wait till it had ended before I could order again. Nothing that would keep me from coming back (I will definitely be back again), but a few more waiters/waitresses would help. I have to say the security guy at the door patting people down as they come in is super cool! He was personable and he actually walks around from table to table making sure everyone is good! It’s the little things that make a difference. I would absolutely recommend checking out Greedy’s if you are in the area!

Not very welcoming from the gate I got patted down for weapons food was soggy music so loud I couldn’t even think. Soda is zero refills which I kind of understand but didn’t really like that. I asked them for a cup of ice. They said I had to pay for it. That wasn’t cool. One thing that was OK was the server she was nice. The owner should call bar rescue. Oh and probably should get the AC fixed cause it was hot. Definitely not going there when I have way better choices.

The security guard (early fifties, brown skin, big eyes) on last night 11/ 23 between 9:05 & 9:20 pm was unnecessarily aggressive & rude with me at the door. I was opening up my purse so he could check as he asked, but before I could get it opened he got to grabbing and feeling on the purse like I wasn’t moving fast enough for him, saying I gotta feel it to make sure nothing is in there. At least give a person time to comply with the request FIRST, instead of moving so anxiously as tho there is a line around the corner; I was the only one in line. With people like him at the door I see why they only have 13 people in the building.

Cool spot to have drinks with friends, the drinks are strong and affordable and the food is good especially after a few margaritas. The DJ be jamming. Oh one downside recently is this reservation thing, if everyone makes a reservation then there’s nowhere for walk in Patrons to sit and enjoy themselves and that’s what happened to me and a few friends Wednesday and I guess because we didn’t make reservations the waitress didn’t wait on us we had to go to the bar to order and I didn’t like that, but other than that it’s a cool lil spot!

My co workers and I ended up coming here after finding out Bar Louie was closed. It was an okay vibe, I couldn’t enjoy the music for all the yelling in the mic. It killed my vibe . Other than that the food was good, drinks kinda on the high side for you not to feel the alchol.

I’m from Florida and it’s definitely different! The choice of music was not a vibe with all the old mixes and the Dj was switching songs on the best part with the newest songs ♀️ the vibe works for some but for me I wasn’t impressed for a Saturday night spot! Food looked good, but I didn’t order anything.
