First time in, just looking for a local lunch. This was not what I was expecting but, “don’t judge the book by the cover”, right?
An unassuming locale that had a half-dozen locals already in when I showed up about 12:30.
The nautical theme is, thankfully, not overdone.
A menu this broad was also not what I thought I’d find. Pizzas occupy one side, sandwiches, salads, et cetera take up the other. Lots of choices for a first-timer.
The Baked Italian seemed a good choice, after all, it’s a fan favorite. After one bite, I understand why. That is one fine sammich! The slaw on the side is was really good, too.
I cannot envision not returning; there are just too many tasty looking choices to not return.
“Reading the book” is highly recommended in this case.

First time here and was not disappointed. The food was so fresh and very delicious. Wings were huge and breaded perfectly, blackened mahi mahi was phenomenal, the XL pepperoni pizza and the Ruben which we choose to only have meat and cheese was also very good.The waitress was outstanding. We could not have asked for a better evening out. Will definitely be back.

The pizza is so good here! We were smart and had a square for here while watching the Lions game on a choice of 6 TVs, then ordered a large round double pepperoni to go for later!
Beer is very cold too and never had to wait for the server to check back regularly. Besides our normal Light beers, they also have some fun beers like vanilla Java potter which is nice on a Sunday afternoon.

We were hungry for a Detroit style pizza on our weekend day trip. Based on the reviews and looking at the menu, decided to give this place a try. The staff was friendly and helpful. The Antipasto salad was delicious and refreshing. The pizza was extremely delicious. Will definitely return for another square pizza

The manager went way out of her way for us to help accommodate my 89 year old father on his birthday. She really went way above and beyond and even got him a cookie with a candle for his bday.
