REDEMPTION!!!!!!!
Husband and I had written this place off last year! Received a message from the new GM asking us to give it another try. It’s a really great space so we were inclined to do so. I’ll hit the highlights of today’s visit!
Liz acknowledged us right away, got our drinks going! We ordered Fried Green Tomatoes and Cheese Curds, both of which were awesome, and came within 15 minutes of ordering, hot and fresh! Got our burgers, wings, and ff’s within 15 minutes after that. Wings were great in two different flavors, burger was absolutely excellent and full of flavor, the shoestring ff’s were seasoned and perfectly cooked! Liz kept checking on us, refilled our drinks right before they were empty, and absolutely knows what great customer service is!!!!
Blake the manager stopped by as he was making rounds checking on guests and thanked us for giving them another try!
This is one of the very few times we’re glad we did try again!
Look forward to going back for live music, the food, and especially for football season!!!
Almost forgot… the women’s bathroom was very clean and maintained!!!!

Average food. Their K25 Hot Sauce is weak! Although it has a good flavor. The broiled fish sandwich was alright. They have a decent beer selection. Our server was super friendly, and our drinks stayed full. The establishment is clean and inviting. We sat outside and enjoyed the weather/atmosphere. This would be a good place for a group of people.

The waitress was patient and attentive while also answering questions for food allergies. There is a kids menu. This establishment is military and Veteran friendly. I ordered the spicy chicken pasta and it was amazing with a wonderful amount of seasoning. My husband ordered the salmon and it was nicely seasoned not overdone. The price was good for what we got.

We were in town for a trade show and this restaurant was near our hotel, and important for us was that the kitchen was still open as this place is also open late. The service was great and friendly, the menu choices were fantastic with both greasy bar food options to healthy choices. The price for the portion size was phenomenal! Most importantly, everything we ordered was made fresh and was delicious! There happened to be a local band performing ’80s music that was entertaining.

If you are riding Wind Rock and staying in Oak Ridge this is a great dinner stop. The entire restaurant had a great vibe and they happened to have Karaoke the night that we stopped in. The staff was friendly, the food was great, and the parking for trailers was exceptional. The only reason for 4 stars was they are a Bar and Grill and were out of our first 4 adult beverage selections. So, we had to settle for what they had vs what we normally would choose. We would still come back and definitely recommend checking them out

Well! What can I say about a place that could’ve gotten a five star rating but because of the staff I was only able to give it a three. Food was a little above par for a sports bar. Prices were so reasonable! Drinks were to die for… The atmosphere was comfortable, but the people that worked there had no personality at all!… they acted robotic and weren’t warm and friendly at all! Don’t understand how they rely on tips when they don’t go out of their way to act like they enjoy working there! For that reason, it will be a while before we go back

We sat for 30 mins without being acknowledged by anyone. When the waitress did come, she was rude and standoffish and unapologetic about ignoring us that long. Fries were sparse with the cheese and bacon. Tomatoes were good. I got a really disgusting pepsi as well, it tasted mildewy. Just sad

Oakey’s has never disappointed! My coworkers and I usually come for drinks and appetizers on Thursdays and it’s a total vibe. Live music and happy hour are fantastic. The drink prices are unbeatable around town. Corn hole and many other games on the patio. Servers have always been excellent. Colby has been my favorite by a long shot!

This late Saturday (3/16/2024), my Girlfriend & I went to a Restaurant that I have been wanting to try for several months, in Oak Ridge, TN called Oakey’s Sports Grill. I have heard good things about it, and I really wanted to go. My Girlfriend and I found the time, so we went. The atmosphere felt like a Sport Bar & Grill, they have a Stage for a Live Band, Huge Flat Screens through the Bar and Dining area. They have split tables for wheelchair seating and accessibility. We went for a weekend lunchtime, a slower time just after they opened. I have noticed in passing that they are very busy at night-time. My Girlfriend has been there before, but it was my first time. The Staff are friendly & helpful. Emmy was our Server; she was super friendly & helpful. My Girlfriend ordered the Mushroom Alfredo pasta, and I ordered the Ultimate Nachos with extra Cheese & Chili Meat (more protein). We both got Sweet Tea as well. While we waited for the Ordered to process with the Kitchen Staff, we looked at all the decor and took pictures. The Pictures are posted as part of this post. About 10 minutes later, Emmy brought the food. My order was absolutely delicious, the Chili for the Nachos had a welcome kick. My girlfriend really enjoyed the Mushroom Pasta sprinkled with Parmesan. We really enjoy the Food, Service & Atmosphere. We will go back to Oakey’s Sports Grill again soon.
Their restaurant is clean, plenty of parking, Wheelchair accessible as well, and The Staff are friendly & helpful.
