This was our first time eating here and it was nothing short of amazing! The food was top tier we had the maple bacon Brussel sprouts, wedge salad, asparagus, garlic mashed potatoes, seafood bake, and the cheddar jalapeño biscuits. All of it was good but the show stopper and must have is the brownie for dessert. It may look like an ordinary brownie but the quality of it was like eating smooth Godiva chocolate mmmmm

Definitely a nice spot at the canal. Feeding the fish a plus for family with kids. Food is ok but not a 4 or 5 star. Had better chowder in other places. Fish was grilled correctly. Our server Marle was correct but not super nice. Don’t go there with expectations too high. Cocktail was delicious.

15th Street Fisheries is a standout dining experience that perfectly blends great food, service, and atmosphere. The upstairs dining area offers a beautiful setting with stunning views of the Ft. Lauderdale Marina, creating a relaxed yet lively waterfront vibe. With numerous bars throughout the space, bartenders were constantly mixing up delicious cocktails, adding to the energy and enjoyment of the evening. The servers were pleasant, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.

The food was excellent from start to finish. The calamari and the jalapeño biscuits set the right tone to start our meal. The snapper filet paired with coconut pineapple rice was flavorful and perfectly prepared, while the baked seafood pasta arrived piping hot and absolutely delicious. As a lovely surprise, the complimentary ice cream sundae dessert was a sweet and satisfying way to end the meal. Between the scenic location, wonderful atmosphere, great drinks, and well-executed dishes, 15th Street Fisheries is a place we’d happily return to and recommend to anyone visiting Fort Lauderdale.

Bartender on 01/14/26 was great. We sat upstairs and talked to her for the whole night, she’s very sweet and knows how to start a conversation. We recommend sittings upstairs for a more “private” dining. The menu downstairs is different from the one upstairs (upstairs is better ) … but you can’t go wrong sitting by the fishes. Oh and on your way out you can put a quarter in the dispenser and get food to feed the koi fish. Very cute ☺️. It’s a must stop when im down here for work. Oh and you can’t go wrong with their happy hours!

15th Street Fisheries is a true Fort Lauderdale icon. We opted for dinner upstairs in the white-tablecloth dining room, where both the food and service were fantastic. We started with their incredible crab cakes and a glass of Sangria. For entrees, we had the Baked Seafood Pasta and the Snapper, served on a bed of coconut rice with a flavorful curry sauce. We wrapped up the night with a slice of Pumpkin Cheesecake that was delicious. If you’ve only ever visited the casual restaurant downstairs, you really need to try the upstairs dining room for a more elevated atmosphere and menu.

15th Street Fisheries is a must-do Fort Lauderdale experience and one we highly recommend to our guests staying at Turtle Nest Bungalow — it’s only about a 10–12 minute drive and absolutely worth it.

From the moment you arrive, it’s fun and memorable. Make sure to stop and feed the koi fish at the entrance, and don’t skip grabbing dried shrimp from the marina store to feed the massive tarpon on the docks — especially great if you’re visiting with kids. It’s one of those classic Florida moments you don’t forget.

The restaurant works perfectly for both date night and families. There are two bars upstairs with great views, plus a downstairs bar and dining area right on the water. The vibe is relaxed but special, and the water taxi stops here, which makes it even more fun.

Food-wise, everything hits:
Burgers are excellent
The clam chowder is legit New England–style
The Cuban sandwich is truly authentic

And the staff? Always friendly, welcoming, and on top of things — which makes the experience even better.

Whether you’re coming for a casual family dinner, a romantic night out, or just drinks by the water, 15th Street Fisheries delivers every time. We send guests here often and everyone loves it.

I’ve lived in Florida for over 40 years and can’t believe this was my first time at 15th Street Fisheries – what a gem! The atmosphere is amazing, with every table offering a great view of the water. We started with crab cakes and smoked fish dip, and the portions were so big we had to take our meals home. My wife’s Mahi tacos had huge, perfectly cooked pieces of fish (not just slivers!) and my grouper sandwich was massive and delicious. Easily a 10/10 experience – we’ll definitely be back!

I really wanted to rate this place higher, but there’s a huge thing that happened that I can’t ignore. First, the positives. I had the mahi and it was fresh and simply prepared and very delicious. The side Caesar salad was ‘lazy’ because you had to mix your own dressing into the lettuce. The Parmesan cheese shavings and croutons were very tasty. I wish the fish came with a lemon wedge, but it didn’t and our waitress never came back so I couldn’t ask for one.
My husband had the Cuban sandwich and it was good but not great. The onion rings were fantastic.
We ate outside and had a nice view and terrific weather.
I downgraded this restaurant because I was about 10 feet behind a waitress and we both used the restroom at the same time. She was in the first stall by the door and I was a few away. She finished first and exited the restroom without washing her hands. To top it off, when I exited, I saw that she didn’t even flush. Double disgusting.
So, that was our experience. Really decent food, but the no hand washing and no flushing grossed me out.
