Stopped for breakfast at Eden Cafe. No one greeted us or anyone else when you walked in. For those of us who had never been there before, we had to ask if we needed to be seated. By the way, you seat yourself. There was only one waitress taking food orders, though there were a lot of workers walking around. We did get coffee right away, which was fresh, strong, and very good. However, we did have to wait a bit for our order to be taken. Hubby ordered the corned beef hash with 3 overeasy eggs. I ordered the breakfast bowl with 2 scrambled eggs, ham, cheddar cheese, and tots. Both were very tasty, and along with the coffee, raised the rating to 3 stars. Our waitress never checked back with us, and only once did someone come by to ask if we wanted more coffee.

I don’t generally leave bad reviews, but cmon.. waited 20 minutes for someone to take our order when we were 1 of 3 occupied tables. The country fried steak looked like it had been reheated 2x before finding a home on my plate. The rest of the food wasn’t much better. Left about 80% of our food untouched.

Stopped in for dinner tonight, waitress was prompt with drinks. Waitress taking out order was a bit short. Then our food came out fast- too fast. I had the poor man’s lobster which was cold, but it would have been okay if the butter had been warm. Baked potato was just a bit warmer than the sour cream. Husbands food had a mix of hot and cold items as well. The waitress never came back to ask us how the food was, because I would have asked if it could have been warmed up. After we were done eating, we kept waiting for her to come with the bill. Finally, after she had checked with the other 3 tables,checking her phone, and doing prep to close- we just went up to the counter to check out. We were FINALLY asked how everything was, which i replied that the food was cold. The cashier stated she was sorry to hear that. I could only reply that someone would have if they would have stopped and asked…

Quick friendly service. Decent food at a good price. We had never had a waffle quiet like this one. They were soo sweet, no need for syrup!! They had a crunchy carmeliztion from the cooked sugar.

Nice truck stop with plenty of room to park. They also have a restaurant here, which appears to also have a bar across the street from the truck stop. Update!!! The restaurant is definitely below par, two egg omelets between $7 to $10… the biscuits and gravy is down right horrible! I couldn’t take more than one bit it was so awful.

We stopped in for the Friday fish. We sat down and were given water and menus. We waited 15 minutes for the waitress to take our order, they were not that busy. From the time she took our order until the time we got our food it was 40 minutes. Then she messed the order up. Never came back to check on us to see how the first few bites were. Her and the other waitress were too busy talking. Food was good other than the fact that she messed our order up.

Had home made chips with burger. There wasn’t even 10 chips on my plate! Said something to waitress and she replied ” you only get a handful!” I don’t know how small a hand it was but I guess it was really small!
