Shocked at how good this was! Get the New Haven style, it’s legit. The char on the crust was perfect! Can’t say enough about Ryan who helped us out before closing, we never felt rushed and he took great care of us. Best pizza around, hands down.

We are back again. It is a small, quaint establishment with seating for about 25 people and a tv. It is running food clips, shows and historical information about pizza. It was packed today, but we still only had a 20 minute wait, YAY! This New Haven Style Pizza keeps calling us back. The crust is thin, light and crisp. We tried the pickle pizza and enjoyed it. I recommend it if you are a fan of dill pickles. The white sauce instead of standard pizza sauce supports every flavorful bite.
We tried the White Birch Soda. I thought it would be like Sprite. It is not. It tastes like carbonated candy hearts or those old italian dinner mints. I was very pleasantly surprused, and it is caffeine-free!

I too, am a Chicago native and pizza is our love language. To each their own. But this calzone was phenominal! So true to how they should be. I would highly suggest these guys for a great pizza. My picky eaters, devoured a whole pizza! Great food. Cant wait to try more options!

What brought me here today? As a Chicago native, I was searching for the New Haven-style pizza. The ongoing pizza battle between Chicago-style pizza, New York-style pizza, and Detroit-style pizza is a debate among the best places. Ultimately, it is a personal preference, but I am happy to share this small business that is getting it done. I explained to the owner exactly what I was looking for, and he accommodated me.
My wife and I ordered his recommendations and a side of garlic knots. Let me tell you, the flavor of the garlic knots, as they were bathed in garlic butter and accompanied by a side of beer cheese, was excellent. It is indeed a go-to for me in the future. Then it came time to experience the pizza. I gave it a few moments to cool, ensuring a decent flavor effort without blistering my mouth and tongue. The first thing was the crunch of the crispy crust, then the flavor took over. I never would have guessed that something so simple would be this good. I am a Chicago native, after all, and it was my opinion that Lou Malnati’s pizza was the benchmark to compete with. This pizza is on a different level and excels.
** UPDATE**
It was another great experience here! The last visit was pleasant, and it was suggested that we try the pickle pizza on the next visit. The opportunity presented itself, so we were indulged. We eagerly waited for our orders, and then they arrived. The aroma was delightful as we went next door to the coffee shop for the book signing. The boxes were opened, and we were greeted with an appealing visual. Knowing what the New Haven style was from our previous experience, I dove into the pickle pizza first. The flavors were like those of a Batman and Robin episode, as the characters fought the evil-doers. POW!! Blam explosion of flavors. Well done !!!

We tried this place for the first time and really enjoyed it. The garlic knots were amazing! The New Haven Supreme Pizza and the anti pasto salad were also very good.

I ordered a spicy Hawaiian pizza topped with sweet pineapple and zesty jalapeños, along with a Supreme New Haven-style pie loaded with a medley of fresh vegetables and savory meats. I decided to split both pizzas, savoring half of each and saving the rest for lunch tomorrow. The crust was beautifully crisp, with just the right amount of chewiness, delivering the satisfying texture I had been craving after watching a recent pizza ranking video online. Each bite offered a delightful balance of flavors that left me wanting more. I can’t wait to stop by the brick-and-mortar location again.
If you’ve had their pizza at an event, it’s the same brick oven (maybe a little bigger), but it’s still cooked in the same way and has that classic New York or New Haven style.

Very disappointed with this “advertisement” in the pizza box that was ordered for a group of kids (boys and girls ages 7-16). What does this have to do with pizza? Why do children (or anyone for that matter) have to be exposed to unnecessary sexualization that is insensitive and offensive? You may read this and think… “oh it’s just a pizza box”. No! Absolutely not. Where is the line drawn? There is a need in our society to teach our men how to act like men (and certainly that would obviously help to start with our boys learning how to act like men) so using a female body as a commodity is not how we should be teaching. Images on television programs, on social media, on smart phones, etc are all just utilizing a female as a commodity.. instead of teaching how valuable every girl and women are because of their soul and how they are created for more than just as an object to be looked upon. Advertisements like this constantly cause issues like low self-esteem, body dissatisfaction, and the normalization of sexual violence, and Contributes to harmful and hateful stereotypes. The first step to this inappropriate style of advertising is to increase awareness. We must be brave enough to see what’s right in front of us and to question practices “deemed normal and acceptable”, and this is not acceptable.

i’m am not understanding why two “medium” pizzas and a cold sub comes out to $52. i was also charged extra for 2 large ranch’s and didn’t even receive them bringing my total to $54. each box only had 4 slices of pizza in them. when has a medium pizza ever contained 4 slices!? there’s no way this place should be that expensive especially when you’re being charged for extra items and they’re not given to you.
