My buddy had a grinder and it was huge, not all bread, actual meat and proper mix of ingredients.
Small tuna salad with a good mix of vegetables, not just three day old lettuce like some places I’ve been.

This is a fantastic restaurant with a wide selection of classic American, Italian, pizza, and much more. They also have a variety of specials that are constantly changing. I am very impressed with the quality of all the different items that I have ordered and can’t recommend this place enough. My favorite is the buffalo chicken grinder. My wife loves the Gios Salad. Their buffalo wings are fantastic and you can’t go wrong with any of their pizzas.

I basically only visit the bar periodically and have gotten takeout and both have been great experiences. However Lindsey is an absolute pleasure to have serve you; the “BEST” personality and treats everyone like they are extra special. I would highly recommend she receive a special award/contribution if Gios does such things!

If I leave a review, it’s worth the stop. Gio’s has the perfect fresh and delicious pizza. I also grabbed a meatball sandwich made fresh daily, and wow! Great flavors and seasoned just right.
I’ll be back for more! This is a must stop and enjoy the food along with the bar/restaurant with a perfect atmosphere.

We had a great experience at Gino’s on 12/26/25. We were greeted and sat right away which was great! Our server Thomas was excellent! He was very professional, knowledgeable and very helpful with cocktail and food selections. We will definitely be back to try more items on the menu. Overall, it’s a great spot to dine in East Granby.

Amazing discovery here. They’ve got a lot of the typical expectations of a pizza restaurant and more. Happiness was found in a variety of preparations of calamari and other dishes.
The salads have always been absolutely fresh as they have an attention to ensure there’s nothing soggy ever on them.
Definitely a place to stay on my “go-tos” list.

I’ve been eating here for 10 or so years because the food is always great but tonight Gios staff went above and beyond when I had a 5 mo old baby and a 2 1/2 year old that had fallen asleep in the car on our way home. I called and asked if there was a chance they could run the pizza right outside the door for me so I didn’t have to try and get them out of the car and the woman answering the phone without a hesitation ran it right out to me. That’s going above and beyond for the customers thank you Gios!

I got pizza and wings, the pizza wasn’t that good because the sauce was like sweeter then normal pizza and the cheese seemed like imitation cheese, and the wings were small, definitely not worth the 50$ i spent on everything. I won’t be going back there to eat.
