First time in Peoria and this was the pizza shop that we came across, we saw from other reviews how the coupons on the app/website are great deals. We got a 16 in. pizza for $18.00 and it was a great size and we liked how the pieces were cut small and into squares (shown in picture). The quality of the food wasn’t anything to be impressed with and the pizza tasted just “okay”. We ask got the pepperoni rolls and those came out hot and crispy but the flavor itself wasn’t anything to crave or need to come back from. Only 2 other tables were full on a Thursday night and it seemed like most people order for take out.

Xavier is always the sweetest young man. He is there every time we go. He makes our day. I remember from years ago at the Chillicothe Monicals, sure wish they were still open. We go to Knoxville Monicals now, use to go to Willow Knolls but service was not very good on several occasions. Thanks Xavier.

Normally a pretty decent place to eat when we come to town from NC. Tried to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Totally disappointed in the service and attention to detail this evening. We sat for over 10-15 minutes before the waitress came to speak to us. She decided to speak with customers who came in after us. Got my wife’s pizza order wrong, which we kept due the food taking so long to come out. Came back once when giving our bill to us. That’s when I was able to ask for a refill on our drinks. Then she gave us the wrong bill. Totally disappointed.

If you come to peoria and don’t go to Monical’s, you are doing something wrong. Fun retro venue and amazing food. Would highly recommend French dressing.

The staff (all 2 of them) were the friendliest! I felt badly for them though. I only gave service a 3, not because they were bad, but because they didn’t have enough help. It took longer to get our pizza because one gal had to do the truck while the other gal ran the kitchen and front of the house. The truck had to be completed by a certain time.
I truly enjoyed talking with these ladies and they did a fabulous job for their situation. They shouldn’t be left in a position where they can’t service the dining room and kitchen at the same time.
I told them I would definitely be back to see them on my next visit to Peoria.

Very inconsistent in taste!In the last 2 months my family has done the same order as dine in, carry out and delivery. By far the taste was best during our eat in experience at the Willow Knolls location and the worst our carry out at the same location. It’s a shame because we really enjoyed our “Point” we had during our dine in on Fathers day now I doubt we will try this again.
