For appetizers we started with the Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings and the Shrimp Spring Roll.
The spring roll was nicely packed and the rice paper wrapper was so fresh! Most places I’ve gone to in SJ the wrapper was too chewy but not here!

The chicken wings were so crispy and packed with flavor. I’d order a whole party tray of those!

For entree I had the Grilled Shrimp Vermicelli. The amount of shrimp was surprising (in a great way)! I loved the fried garlic topping too. Everything tasted so fresh. The fish sauce wasn’t too overpowering too, which was really pleasant.

I’m so glad Hollister has this place for great Asian food and boba! Our waitresses were also very attentive as well.

Pho Nha is just okay—there is definitely room for improvement. We ordered the special combos for the adults and a chicken noodle for the kids to split, along with crispy egg rolls.

The Good: The egg rolls were delicious and served piping hot. The service was good, the environment was pleasant, and the restrooms were clean.

The Bad: Unfortunately, the pho itself was a letdown. Unlike the appetizers, the broth was not hot enough and had an overpowering gingery taste. The meat portions were disappointing; instead of proper slices, it felt like we were served ‘bottom of the barrel’ scraps. We also ran into issues with cleanliness and portions—the condiment bottles were dirty (we had to borrow Hoisan from another table), and the garnish plate was incredibly stingy (only three slices of jalapeño and one sprig of basil for the whole table).

Overall, while the service and atmosphere are nice, the food quality and value need work.

The Thai tea is amazing but food was a bit disappointing. I ordered grilled chicken and shrimp and the chicken wasn’t grilled it was season in brown sauce and I only got 2 small pieces of shrimp to be honest it was not worth $20. The appetizer was good we got the rocket shrimp. The ambience and service was great but food needs some improvement.

Amazing food! Will definitely be going back. Wait time was not too long (15-20min) and definitely worth it. Food came out hot and delicious. The soup can easily be for two people -don’t know how I finished it all . Try this place out, they just opened a few months ago too!

Pho Nha has quickly become a true gem in Hollister. For years, we would drive all the way to San Jose or San Francisco whenever we wanted authentic Vietnamese cuisine—but not anymore. Hollister finally has an exceptional Vietnamese restaurant that matches (and in many ways surpasses) the quality and flavors we used to travel for.
From the moment we walked in, the service was outstanding. Our servers, Phoebe and Abby, provided warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming hospitality. They checked in at the right times, made thoughtful recommendations, and made sure everything we ordered was perfect. Their professionalism and friendly energy elevated our entire dining experience.
The food was fresh, flavorful, and truly authentic—exactly what we have been missing locally. It’s refreshing to see a restaurant in Hollister delivering both top-quality Vietnamese dishes and exceptional customer service.
We are thrilled to have Pho Nha in our community and will absolutely be returning. Highly recommended!

Wonderful pho, best broth I’ve had in a long time. I had the combo and my friend had the rib pho. Good size portions. We both enjoyed ourselves. Service was friendly. My friend ordered a boabo tea on the way out and she was very happy with the taste.

If you live in Hollister you know this new Pho/Milk Tea establishment is a BIG deal! If you visit Hollister you will soon realize being in town 15 mins there is not much of a selection in food options. Check out Pho Nha if you are craving authentic Pho outside of San Jose it will not disappoint. As a long time San Jose Vietnamese resident, moving here is the biggest challenge for one to get used to is the dining options let alone Vietnamese cuisine Abundant is your run of the mill tacos, brunch cafes, pizza and major fast food chains nothing to right home about, however Pho Nha is that one stands out, from its homage to Vietnam you will be greeted with Vietnamese decor, with that alone is a good sign as to what offerings they have. On the soft opening wife ordered the grilled pork vermicelli and I ordered the pho dac biet (special combo) with an order of beef ribs, because why not? Broth was one of the best I had in a long time, all the right hints of the old world flavors, which immediately transported me back to our trip to VN. Proper fresh herbs as condiments were all present. The grilled pork vermicelli, on point no cutting corners. For refreshments it is a very nice selection not too much not too little imo it was just right. Order the iced Vietnamese coconut coffee, this was refreshing option as many Viet restaurants do not offer this, it’s a nice switch up to the basic cafe sua da variety. Overall food was spectacular, drinks very good and the staff is very personable, checking on us at the right intervals. It’s safe to say this town looks promising for future eateries. There are 2 other “Vietnamese” establishments in town, yes 2 but in my opinion the others do not come close at all. For us we have found a place we do not need to drive to San Jose to get the flavors we are used to, which is so convenient. Keep up the great food and service Pho Nha! Thank you for planting your roots in Hollister.

I really wanted to like this place but i unfortunately was disappointed with the pho :/ I’ve never had pho w thick noodles, it felt like pad thai and wondered if it was just a different type of pho. The broth was also too sweet compared to what I’ve had before . The thick noodles was a but much and i got full so fast and couldn’t finish. I actually came in wanting a banh mi and it was covered up on the menus.
We ordered fruit and milk tea that was good. The staff was friendly and attentive. I hope this place improves
