The food is SO good!!! The people working there are SO nice. We had an amazing time trying different skewers and everyone was delicious. Lots of choices on the menu, we took our time and ordered a few different plates. The lemonade, by the way, was delicious, sweet, but not too sweet❤️
Can’t wait to return!
One thing to keep in mind, this part of the restaurant is on the second floor. There are stairs leading up to it. It’s a small place, but if there’s a wait, it will be worth the wait.

Absolutely an amazing experience m. We just got back from Japan not too long ago and this place definitely brought us back. The meat skewers Yakitori are out of this world. The staff does an excellent job and they’re very attentive. You can’t go wrong with any of their choices, but we loved the beef udon the most. We’ll definitely be back very soon
Great prices and great decor. It can get a little crowded on the weekends

Extremely disappointed with the service! I visited a few days ago with some friends for dinner. We were enjoying some beer and then moved on to sake. There was still half a glass left in the bottle, but a waiter tried to clear it away. When I told him we weren’t finished yet, instead of apologizing, he literally slammed the bottle back onto the table and just walked off.
While he might seem ‘polite’ on the surface, he lacks any genuine hospitality or care. It was incredibly rude and ruined our mood. Truely unprofessional. I have no intention of returning.

Absolutely great service, cozy environment, and good food and drinks. Our server was great with recommendations and so friendly.
Happy hour prices are a bonus too!

We had the chicken Kara-age, takoyaki, steamed spicy clams, and variety of yakitori—chicken thigh with scallion, eggplant, shrimp, pork belly with mochi and enoki, and Kuro sausage with green peppers. Drink was “To Yuzu”

First time here and not a good experience!
The food are mostly pre made frozen food
Skewers are kinda dry
The worst part was the beef..I have no idea what kinda beef they use, they were all chewy as rubber, looks like they were all after trimmed cuts that should be throw in the garbage!
Service was okay ,but I’m sure I won’t go back again as the area have a lot much better choices and competition!

The food was good but I do have a bit of an issue. Ordered the chicken karrage and something triggered an allergic reaction. I think there needs to be some kind of clear allergy warnings on their menus at least. I’m alive to write this review clearly, I just know now not to order the chicken karrage next time at least. Been here enough to say that I like the vibe here, clearly the owner is a massive One Piece fan, all and all it’s good spot with that only one issue.

Quick and thorough service, I liked how the restaurant was decorated as well as the lighting. The skewers were moist and flavorful, and the drinks were well presented.

Very friendly staff and great food, good for casual hang outs with a few friends. It can be a little cramped and crowded, don’t expect private booths/seats here.

Definitely suggest reserving in advance if it’s a larger party or you’re going at a busy time (e.g. Friday night)

Cozy cute spot perfect for late nite Japanese small plates and delicacies.

Yakitori are huge! Very tasty and large selection.

For starters, we ordered Purple Yam fries and Agedashi Tofu. Yum! Mains include jumbo size Unagi, Shrimp Tempura Udon, pork belly and chicken liver skewers. More Yum and very satisfying!

Thanks to Sona and John for being such great hosts. Really enjoyed the mochi green tea ice cream.

Totally exceeded expectations, will be back very soon!!

Service was great! Food was great! We definitely over ordered for two but who cares! It was that delicious and closes we’d get to being back in Japan. Highly recommend Tamashii Izakaya
