I’m a frequent traveler and this is sincerely the worst airport food experience that I have ever had. It took a half an hour for them to get my grilled cheese out, then it was cold and congealed. I couldn’t even eat it. Also, that was a $30 grilled cheese.

The server was inattentive and slow, frequently disappearing. This is a restaurant where you order using an app; she was not overworked. She was slow to bring water and forgot to bring napkins.

Eventually, the cook brought our food out because the server wasn’t bothering.

You are better off being hungry than trying to eat here.

i had a very rude hostess who put me in direct sunlight I asked to move closer to bar section (medical procedure) she said no and then put someone else there….brought me back to the same seat I told my waitress Jessica she graciously moved me to the seat with no problem for the seat I asked for and Joseph was my waiter they were both amazing over the top…the host had the nerve to speak out loud about how I went to the waitress Jessica to ask to be moved…. Making a scene …simply bad and irresponsible . Jessica even came back to check on me again even though Joseph took over as my waiter in this section…. I give 5 stars for these two but they need a new host with a better attitude and not so rude or at least training… everyone had to listen to the hostess gossip during breakfast as well…….8:30am 10.26.25 hats off to Jessica and Joseph ❤️ these two made this place a great experience……

Pricier than I expected, but the Pastrami I had was fantastic. The server Jessica is a treasure, greeting and checking in on all the customers as “beautiful people” and working nonstop. She made my excellent meal lots of fun. It’s Halloween and all the servers dressed up.

As you can see from when we were there to it was pretty dead (between lunch and dinner). Our waiter was prompt and friendly, and the food was not bad at all, but it’s still pretty expensive, even for the airport.

Somehow Brooklyn Diner doesn’t display menus prices on their menu board which is required in NYC (Maybe LGA has an exemption, not sure). I suspect the reason is the prices would turn away folks from entering the diner. With that being said the food was very very good. The pancakes come with strawberries, blueberries, whipped cream, butter packs and syrup. The syrup was a bit different (not sure what brand they use). The staff is super friendly (one girl said good morning to over 100 people walking by) and the food came out quickly. Very clean has multiple TVs for viewing and charging outlets at all booths. They really need to be upfront with their prices however, while writing this I’ve personally witnessed several patrons walk out once they scanned the barcode on the table and realize the prices. Overall positive experience, multi-lingual staff.

The process is odd. You sit down and order on your phone AND pay for the bill and gratuity for your waitress before you even meet them. If you don’t close out the tab, it automatically will charge 20% gratuity. Insane backwards process, especially since I had to get up to get my own hot sauce and utensils.

I know it’s not the employees fault, so I don’t take issue with them- but the establishment, yes.

The food was unbearable. I had to just eat elsewhere. The omelette was dry and like old bread. Dined here with My cousin and she got food poisoning from here. I’d be cautious.

****DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU HAVE FOOD ALLERGIES ***** they do not care. I asked about my allergens beforehand and still got a reaction.

Service was very poor. We only saw our waiter when he was dropping off food. We had to get out of our seat to ask for a drink refill.
It took 25 mins for a burger and cold sandwich to come out, they were maybe 1/3 seated. Juding by the cheese on my cold sandwich, it had been sitting in the back for some time.
Staff was nice enough, but they were clearly overwhelmed and understaffed.

Look, it’s an airport. In NY. Prices are going to be kind of stupid. But my pastrami sandwich was good, and a good portion size. Fried were good and hot. Server was polite and quick although he never refilled my water. My wife liked her turkey club. It is what it is, and I’ve had worse food at airports before.

Very overpriced, even by airport food standards. Good portion of the pastrami was burnt and inedible. Sandwich came without sauerkraut. For a $30+ item the ingredients should be correct. Service was friendly and attentive though. Definitely do not recommend.

Stopped in Friday evening. Before ordering i asked why the prices were so high and the server guaranteed me that the food would be worth the price….well it wasn’t. And for a while she left the restaurant and the other 2 that were working didn’t pay any attention to anyone including the manager. I think the picture of my Turkey Club speaks for itself. I frequent LGA and will not be back here until changes are made!
