Not very busy at 4pm on a Thursday. Had a GREAT DINNER. The Miso Icelandic cod was phenominal. The crab rice bed could be served in a bowl as an entree and id but that too. Wife said the salmon was perfect, im sorry I forgot our servers name but it started with a T, she was great and we wanted for nothing, great experience.

Came for holiday dinner during December. They had a Christmas cocktail menu and live piano bar music playing Christmas carols as well as other instrumental pop music. Fantastic experience all the way around. It was lively and energetic. Very busy. Not rambunctious. All the courses were great. Intimate enough that we could hold a conversation without being disturbed by the neighboring tables. There are two dining rooms one attached to the bar where the piano is and everyone seem to be having a great time. We peeked our head and the other dining room and that did not seem to be as lively but it appeared to be set up for bigger parties. The decor was quite different in the two rooms. The room we were set in was more of a solarium and unlike the photos listed here on Google maps it is much more updated with gray walls and black furniture. Much more modern than the photos indicate.

We had not been to Nick’s in quite a while but had been there several times in the past. This was disappointing compared to what we’ve experienced before. It was a Tuesday night and was not busy. After bringing our drinks it took the waitress 15 to 20 minutes more to take our order. It was also quite chilly sitting in the atrium area of the bar. My husband’s food came out lukewarm which he did not complain about. My salmon was clearly overcooked. However the waitress was very insistent that I send it back. The meal that returned was much better. But overall we really had the sense that our patronage was not that important. And after spending $90 for two people with only one alcoholic beverage, the experience did not quite meet our expectations. On the plus side the French onion soup was fantastic and the crispy Brussels sprouts were quite good.

I haven’t eaten here, but my sister in W. Va. has. I ordered a gift card for her on line to be sent to Cincinnati, Ohio. The card arrived in a timely manner and they put a nice note on back with our names. Great customer service since I ordered and paid on line. I am sure my sister will be pleasantly surprised when she receives her gift card.

Millionaire burger with truffle tries was very good. Super rich and a half pound patty so great for splitting.

If overpriced low quality cooking is what you like with a side of completely miserable and nasty staff (or you are at the age where your tastebuds don’t work), this is the place for you. I would take a old sandwich out of the trash to eat and it would be guaranteed on par if not better than most of what they serve. You would think on top of that with the money you spend the staff and management could at least fake a decent attitude. Went twice for a family members birthday and the second time the staff was so disgusting with attitude we left and will never be back. 100% do not give this awful place your business!

I use to frequent this cozy fine dining restaurant quite a bit . I went there again and was surprised with a Valentine’s early dinner I only came short of a 5 star service because in comparison the etiquette of being waited on and cordially from those years have waned . One waitress with a busy schedule at 4pm. There wasn’t even a butter knife for my rolls so what the heck , I just used my dinner knife. But food and ambience was excellent

The crab cakes were excellent! Nice atmosphere and convenient access from the airport. A great place to fly in and get the proverbial “$100 hamburger”. They also won an award for best burger in Hagerstown last year.

Went for my husband’s Christmas party and the dinner was subpar. Had a steak for dinner, asked for medium well and was told it’s hard with a large group(understandble). Drinks took forever to come in, no drink menus when we first arrived in the room. This was my first time in Hagerstown and I doubt we’d go back here, not terrible but just not worth the price. Shots alone are insanely priced

Had a crabcake there for lunch on 12/11.
Was the worst crabcake I have ever eaten. Not brown, not hot, full of filler and every bite had shell in it. Disappointed. Would never order one again.
