Wtf… they went up on the prices, but went way down on quantity.. the food always been decent for taste. Before they shut down you could have only $5 and get full. I’ve heard son many Jacksonians rave about this place. So, while in town, we hit the drive they for a quick lunch. The speaker system works, but it is a bit of a challenge to understand everything being said. The speed of service was decent, as was the food. The lady at the window lacked personality, but maybe she was having an off day! It was an overall average experience for me.

I never tried Ellis Seafood all my life of living in Mississippi. Where I live, Ridgeland, doesn’t have this around. It looked good and being pregnant I had a craving for some popcorn shrimp. My bf/baby father took me here and ordered the popcorn shrimp with fries and hush puppies along with a red slushee. Man when I tell you heaven was in my mouth when I started to take a bite! Food was hot and fresh! Honestly the best seafood place I’ve been to so far.

Worst food I’ve ever ate, I wouldn’t even give this place any stars. I’m from Louisiana and came and got wings , shrimp , and tenders with fries today and the service was bad, the food had no flavor, the fried rice had no seasoning. The lady in the window was by far the rudest and impatient even after telling her I’m not from Mississippi. She had a nasty attitude and when I got to the window my total was $43 and I asked if I could do a split payment and she says I can’t charge your card unless it’s $5 or more so I gave her both payment methods and when she gave it back my card was charged for $1.55 like she said she couldn’t charge it. Moral of the story get workers that have good customer service, wants to be at work, and put cooks on the line who know how to use love in the kitchen. My family and I were very unsatisfied with the whole visit and will never come back to this place again!

First and last time visiting. The fish was overcooked, wilted lettuce salad drenched in salad dressing, and approximately 10 fries were included in my order. The only bright spot was the oysters. Drive thru was the only option that took forever.
