It was our first visit, (& my patients have raved about their pizza), so we stopped to have dinner on the way home from Des Moines. It’s a happening joint on Sat at 6pm! Very busy! We ordered on a paper & took it to the bar to pay/order, which was a brilliant way to make being short a server or two a positive & unique experience for patrons. Our food was served piping hot & it was delicious!Our waitress was very friendly, personable, & attentive. It was a good experience for us. If we return it’ll be on a weeknight when its not quite as busy. (Busy is good… we’re just old).

Went on a trip out of the blue to try a new place and it did not disappoint! We had the homemade fried pickles as an appetizer, probably the best fried pickles I’ve had. I had the breaded tenderloin and my wife had the patty melt. We were too busy eating to have much discussion during the meal! We both had the homemade onion rings as a side and really enjoyed those too. We each took another meal home for later with what we had left over! I will definitely be back!

Was told to go here and try the pizza. Sunday night 7:pm a total of nine people were in this place including the two bar tenders. The pizza was good. Plenty of choices on the menu to choose from. If you to get your front on. Plenty of beers and the hard stuff. Friendly atmosphere.

We were greeted by Crescent who was our hostess, bartender and waitress. What a wonderful person. We asked Crescent what their specialty was or what they were famous for. She quickly said pizza, wings and chicken gizzard. Ordered the gizzard and the HSC special pizza. The gizzard were the best I had ever had. Cooked perfectly and not chewy or dry. The pizza had generous portions of toppings and was prepared to perfection. If you are in the Haverhill, Iowa area you definitely need to check this place out. Large inside with plenty of tables and lots of nostalgic decor. There is an enclosed outside patio area with plenty of tables and um rellas

Love this place! Beer is always cold and food is always good. Had the chicken/bacon/ranch pizza, sausage pizza and fried pickles. Plenty of food and we took home enough for another meal. Awesome atmosphere too. Never disappointed!!

A delicious gem off the beaten path. Menu is primarily pizza and burgers, but have 98 different bottled and canned beers!! We enjoyed the fried cauliflower, which was not overly greasy, and the thin crust combo pizza. Even with generous toppings the thin crust hello up. They also offered regular crust and cauliflower crust. Casual setting, attentive server–worth the visit!
