Went here twice, both times had to wait 10+ min for food. I thought it was great, sushi rolls, make your own poke bowl. Everything seemed fresh to me. 4 stars because fiance had diarrhea for a few days after this and blames it on the sushi.
***1 month after Vaca, both myself and my friend that got lunch here had a $70 charge on our cards for “evoke motorcycles”.
We are not sure which shop stole our card info, but we only went to 2 that used our cards. Be careful and check your account diligently.

Friendly staff and great sushi ! Seven of us stopped by for lunch. We enjoyed the sushi so much we ordered twice more until we were so full we had to catch some Zzzs on the beach ⛱️. We already have plans to go back before vacation ends. As stated, the staff was very friendly and didn’t mind that we kept ordering, lol.

My family and I are in town for our annual vacation, and we decided to grab sushi from this restaurant. The presentation of the sushi was really nice. The food was fresh and completed super quickly. If you’re in town I recommend picking up poke and sushi from this spot.

We’ve been coming here since they first opened, and they’ve never disappointed. The staff is consistently friendly, courteous, and professional. Prices are reasonable, the sushi is always fresh, and the poke bowls are top-notch. It’s become a staple for us every time we visit the OBX.

Absolutely waste of money. The large size poke bowl was half full, making it like a medium, not worth $18+ with tax. Brown rice was hard, looks like it is not fully cooked. Very small portion only of the three proteins. Corn was very dry. Not much choice for veggies and toppings. Altogether very dry, it looks like only a teaspoon, may be less, of poke sauce was in it. Beware…total rip off. Review for OBX, NC Oishii.

Lovely establishment, and the staff is super sweet! The fish they use is very very fresh, and the prices are great. I strongly recommend trying the volcano roll, and the tuna nigiri. The poké bowls are also great and come with plenty of toppings!
