I have been here three times for dine in (have done takeaways multiple times) but before commenting anything about the food and its flavor, I would like to say that the service is really very slow (they say that they cook fresh due to which it takes time but sometimes, the customer is too hungry to wait) and honestly I’m not being critical but they really need to work on the service. I revisited after six months only to see that the service hasn’t improved a bit.Took almost 50ish mins to get our goat & chicken Mandi.

Food however is really nice, have tried their Mandi (chicken & goat both), haleem , chicken 65 (takeaway) & pathar ka gosht and apricot crème as well as tea. If you’re someone who enjoys Indian flavors, you will enjoy eating here. Ambiance is nice. Cutlery is clean

Falaknuma Restaurant is absolutely outstanding! The food is fresh, flavorful, and full of authentic taste that instantly reminds me of true Hyderabadi flavors.

I’m totally obsessed with their Chicken 65 — crispy, perfectly spiced, and bursting with flavor in every bite! The Chicken Reshmi Kebab is another must-try — soft, juicy, and melts in your mouth. Pair it with their freshly made Rumali Roti, and you’ve got the perfect meal!

The ambiance is warm and inviting, the service is quick, and every dish feels made with love. Definitely one of my favorite spots for delicious Indian food — highly recommend!

Food is pretty average to be honest. Chicken Reshmi kebab was bone dry and came without any chutney. Nizami Mutton came with one rumali roti. Mutton pieces were super soft but very few. Zaffrani chicken dum biryani was disappointing, no flavor, no dry fruits, no hint of saffron. Irani chai was the only decent thing. Not coming back to this again. Service is limited and ambience isb

* I have been looking for authentic Biryani around the bay area for a long time. After having tried so many places, I am glad to have found this one – in my opinion the best Biryani in the bay area.
* I ordered food for pickup so can’t comment on the service much, the ambiance looked pretty good inside though!
* Food is Zabiha Halal
* Big parking lot

Tried Falaknuma recently and honestly the food hit the spot.

The goat dum biryani was super flavorful — perfectly spiced, aromatic, and the meat was really tender.

The pathar ka gosht was awesome — juicy, smoky, and packed with flavor.

If you like rich, authentic Hyderabadi flavors, these two dishes are definitely worth ordering!

I visited Falaknuma in Fremont today for the first time and tried a few dishes to get a sense of their menu.

I ordered the Chicken Mandi, Chicken 65, and the Kabab Platter, along with rumali roti and a blueberry mocktail. The Chicken Mandi was the highlight of the meal—it tasted good, though the rice felt more like a pulao with chicken placed on top rather than a traditional mandi preparation.

The Kabab Platter was the most disappointing part. I was expecting a variety of different kababs, but most of the items were chicken-based with only one lamb chop. The kababs were quite dry, and overall I wouldn’t recommend this dish.

The Chicken 65, rumali roti, and blueberry mocktail were decent—not great, not bad, just okay.

Service was on the slower side, which added to the overall underwhelming experience.

I’m not sure if I’ll be visiting again anytime soon. The restaurant has potential, but they really need to improve the food quality and flavors to make the experience worth it.

I recently visited Falaknuma Restaurant, and I have to say, I’m officially in love with this place! From the moment we walked in until we left, the experience was absolutely amazing.

A huge shoutout to Noman, who provided us with outstanding service. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our dinner.

We ordered the Mix Mandi, which came with a tender piece of chicken, a flavorful piece of mutton, and a generous portion of mandi rice. The portion was very filling for two people, and the taste was truly top-notch — aromatic, authentic, and satisfying.

We ended our meal with Apricot Cream (Qubani ka Meetha), and it was heavenly! One bite instantly transported me back to Hyderabad. Sweet, creamy, and perfectly balanced — an absolute must-try.

There was also another server (unfortunately I didn’t catch his name) who left a huge impression on us. Even though it was close to closing time and the staff was starting to wrap up, he was incredibly polite and told us to take our time. No rush at all. That level of hospitality is rare and truly appreciated.

Overall, the combination of delicious food and exceptional customer service from both Noman and the other server made this a memorable dining experience. I will definitely be coming back — Falaknuma Restaurant has earned a loyal customer!

Amazing food. Loved the mutton Marag and chicken 65. The Zafrani biriyani was okay. Haleem was authentic. Great ambience and helpful staff. Price is great for the quality and quantity of the food. Finally the apricot creme was a great to finish it all.

The ambiance of the restaurant is good. Servers and other staff are helpful.
But the food is pathetic. I ordered butter chicken and butter paneer. It was extremely oily and unhealthy. Rumali roti (bread) was overcooked and burnt. We had to throw away the food. I had to wash my hands with four pumps of hand soap! Not recommended at all. I wonder how many reviews are paid.

Falaknuma truly delivers an exceptional dining experience that captures the essence of authentic Hyderabadi flavors. The biryani here is absolutely outstanding—fragrant, perfectly spiced, and cooked to perfection with tender, flavorful meat that melts in your mouth. The marag is equally impressive, rich and aromatic with a comforting depth that pairs beautifully with warm naan or soft paratha. And the chicken 65, Crispy, juicy, and bursting with that signature tangy-spicy kick that keeps you coming back for more.

Beyond the food, the ambience is simply delightful—elegant yet relaxed, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that complements the traditional dishes perfectly. The service deserves special mention: the staff (Nouman) are attentive, courteous, and genuinely eager to ensure every guest has a memorable experience.

Falaknuma isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a celebration of Hyderabadi hospitality and culinary excellence. Highly recommended for anyone looking to savor authentic flavors.
