Food however is really nice, have tried their Mandi (chicken & goat both), haleem , chicken 65 (takeaway) & pathar ka gosht and apricot crème as well as tea. If you’re someone who enjoys Indian flavors, you will enjoy eating here. Ambiance is nice. Cutlery is clean
I’m totally obsessed with their Chicken 65 — crispy, perfectly spiced, and bursting with flavor in every bite! The Chicken Reshmi Kebab is another must-try — soft, juicy, and melts in your mouth. Pair it with their freshly made Rumali Roti, and you’ve got the perfect meal!
The ambiance is warm and inviting, the service is quick, and every dish feels made with love. Definitely one of my favorite spots for delicious Indian food — highly recommend!
* I ordered food for pickup so can’t comment on the service much, the ambiance looked pretty good inside though!
* Food is Zabiha Halal
* Big parking lot
The goat dum biryani was super flavorful — perfectly spiced, aromatic, and the meat was really tender.
The pathar ka gosht was awesome — juicy, smoky, and packed with flavor.
If you like rich, authentic Hyderabadi flavors, these two dishes are definitely worth ordering!
I ordered the Chicken Mandi, Chicken 65, and the Kabab Platter, along with rumali roti and a blueberry mocktail. The Chicken Mandi was the highlight of the meal—it tasted good, though the rice felt more like a pulao with chicken placed on top rather than a traditional mandi preparation.
The Kabab Platter was the most disappointing part. I was expecting a variety of different kababs, but most of the items were chicken-based with only one lamb chop. The kababs were quite dry, and overall I wouldn’t recommend this dish.
The Chicken 65, rumali roti, and blueberry mocktail were decent—not great, not bad, just okay.
Service was on the slower side, which added to the overall underwhelming experience.
I’m not sure if I’ll be visiting again anytime soon. The restaurant has potential, but they really need to improve the food quality and flavors to make the experience worth it.
A huge shoutout to Noman, who provided us with outstanding service. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our dinner.
We ordered the Mix Mandi, which came with a tender piece of chicken, a flavorful piece of mutton, and a generous portion of mandi rice. The portion was very filling for two people, and the taste was truly top-notch — aromatic, authentic, and satisfying.
We ended our meal with Apricot Cream (Qubani ka Meetha), and it was heavenly! One bite instantly transported me back to Hyderabad. Sweet, creamy, and perfectly balanced — an absolute must-try.
There was also another server (unfortunately I didn’t catch his name) who left a huge impression on us. Even though it was close to closing time and the staff was starting to wrap up, he was incredibly polite and told us to take our time. No rush at all. That level of hospitality is rare and truly appreciated.
Overall, the combination of delicious food and exceptional customer service from both Noman and the other server made this a memorable dining experience. I will definitely be coming back — Falaknuma Restaurant has earned a loyal customer!
But the food is pathetic. I ordered butter chicken and butter paneer. It was extremely oily and unhealthy. Rumali roti (bread) was overcooked and burnt. We had to throw away the food. I had to wash my hands with four pumps of hand soap! Not recommended at all. I wonder how many reviews are paid.
Beyond the food, the ambience is simply delightful—elegant yet relaxed, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that complements the traditional dishes perfectly. The service deserves special mention: the staff (Nouman) are attentive, courteous, and genuinely eager to ensure every guest has a memorable experience.
Falaknuma isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a celebration of Hyderabadi hospitality and culinary excellence. Highly recommended for anyone looking to savor authentic flavors.
