Oh MY, Such a quaint, cute little spot of happiness. 5 Hannah, was my smiling, helpful Barista. This place is beautifully decorated, makes you feel special having coffee in a cozy place with linen table clothes on several small tables for 4. There’s a comfy couch facing a fireplace, makes it feel like “home”.
Counter service was pleasant and quick.
I ordered a sugar free vanilla/lavender decaf latte, it was lovely.
I sat “outside” the cafe, where there are tables, inside the mall. There were many people enjoying their coffee and treats!!!
All the food looked yummy .

1/23 Ordered a coffee from the list of specials and the cashier wasn’t very friendly and seemed a little confused by my drink order. My friend ordered after me and got his drink first. I don’t mind drinks coming out in a different order, but the cashier and barista had some communication problems and my drink had gotten missed in the queue completely. Might need a new method of communicating and probably a new direction for the line to form. Everyone waiting for food and drinks was crammed into the smallest corner of the store.

Editing to add: there’s a pretty handwritten menu on the back wall. Underneath is a sign that says the prices may be different? You might need to take the time to fix your menu rather than making everyone ask about pricing and displaying inaccurate pricing

Service was a little slow, but the food was excellent. We had the quiche, grilled cheese with jelly sandwich, monet claurent sandwich, apple tart and lavender cookies. They all were excellent. The employee was friendly but she was busy. The owner came by and helped out and apologized for the delays which we really appreciate. We will be back.

A very charming lad served us. Was willing to try off-menu additions, was friendly, prompt, and laughed at my stupid jokes.
The blueberry oatmeal tart was so good: buttery shortbread crust with gooey filling and crispy top. Fresh and buttery. Yum.
The sandwiches ($11) were super tasty, but sadly the reason for the list star. Super buttery bread. I would not categorize it as brioche, as it was a bit hard… more like a challah. The taste saved it. Definitely could have used more meat, as we could not taste the pancetta, but neither of us cared because we loved the brie, arugula and sauce. Nom nom good.
The mocha ($5) was really good, easily the best I’ve had in the Palouse. I loved how hot it was, as it was warm all through lunch and even after we got home.
All was affordable and well-presented. Will try to go back while I’m still in town and during future visits.

I brought my wife and daughter to this coffee shop for a coffee date. I ordered a drip, at noon, and was informed they are out. I love the place, the atmosphere, and the staff. However, I don’t like the flavored coffees. So, what kind of coffee shop does not have coffee? If I cannot get coffee at a coffee shop for a coffee date, why would I take the time to come here? We have been here many times, but I am reconsidering my notion to return!

I am always pleased with the coffee that I order and the food has always been delicious. We love the pastries and my kids especially love the macarons. Very lovely little place with comfortable seating.

First off, Carson’s review is completely pointless. 1 star because you went to France and had cheaper food that was rock hard? Give me a break.

This place is excellent. The food is good—best around as far as coffee shops goes. It gets 5 stars because it is the best here in Moscow. Coffee is excellent. Ingredients are really good. I love the clear refrigerator where I can see everything.

That being said, I think there are some improvements that can be made. I suggest the owner find and purchase the book called “Learning to See” or “Traction” and glean some efficiency principles from them. Having been a a process engineering tech, I believe you can excel even more by tweaking the setup to make things more efficient. Your service will become faster and your workers (who are excellent) will not have to rush around everywhere to complete simple items. For example, watch the process that they must do to complete the Croque Monsieur. They are traveling across the entire establishment to do various things. This can be brought into one localized food prep area where they do not have to travel nearly as much. Look up “Lean process improvement” on Google and redesign your processes. I can’t wait to see how your establishment improves, and I am sure your bottom line will enjoy it too.

I got a chocolate eclair and I loved the custard, and that it was generous. I’ve had so many with custards that miss the mark. I thought this custard had just the right taste, mouth feel and after taste. I liked the chocolate. My eclair was not soggy. I have never had an eclair with dough I loved; I didn’t love this but it had no flaws, either. Not too much dough, and holds the custard and chocolate!

Overpriced and not very good. What cost me 5 euro in france is 15 dollars here

Baguette was soft, flavor was decent but it’s not supposed to be soft. Also came wrapped in plastic which is not a good sign.

Croissant was soft and chewy, not right. Flavor was a little off.

“Chocolate croissant” had similar problems, but more so.

All in all I’d rather buy a ticket to Paris, get a baguette and fly back home instead of going here.

Very cute shop. I stopped by for the first time and was excited to see they had bouchons. I didn’t taste them until I’d already left. Unfortunately, they were very hard and dry. However, I also tried their lavender butter cookie and it was delicious.
