I searched high and low for authentic charcoal chicken like I’ve had in Mexico and the Middle East, and I finally found it at Charcoal Grill in Glendale. The flavor is absolutely spot on — smoky, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. The service was awesome and welcoming from start to finish. There were four of us, we split just two entrées, and still had leftovers! The tacos and the half chicken plate (pictured) were amazing. Highly recommend if you’re craving real charcoal-grilled flavor.

I just left this place today of this review. The girl working there was sweet and polite. Now let’s get to the more important topic, the food. I got the lamb kebab for my grandmother who was craving hummus and Shawarma. The girl forgot to put the chips in there for my grandmother‘s hummus. I ordered chicken because it was on the menu and a salad. The chicken wasn’t great. I ate four pieces out of 12, my grandmother ate two and I threw the rest away. The only thing that was decent was the baklava, salad, and french fries. My grandmother said the lamb kebabs tasted OK. We are used to the Mediterranean food in Dearborn, Michigan. Still searching out here in Arizona for Something comparable. This was not it. This was not worth the nearly $70 but you live and learn.

I was able to walk in and get seated right away. I ordered the beef shawarma wrap with a tortilla and the baba ganoush with pita. Honestly I was kind of disappointed by the food given its very high rating. There was just some flavor and contrast missing with the wrap and the baba ganoush was not as good as I have had other places. That being said I appreciated the quick service, the food came out fast, the restaurant and bathrooms are clean and well maintained, I just can’t justify giving it 5 stars without the food being top tier.

I’m not sure why I waited so long to try this place. The food tastes amazing. I was never a fan of humus, but theirs is delicious and now it’s usually the first item I finish on my plate. They serve with a small side of what I think is mayo based sauce, but I request the taziki sauce instead. If you like grilled meat then give this place a try.

Oh I’d give this place much more than 5 stars if I could! I had 30 mins for a quick bite, stumbled into this wonderful place .

This place was phenomenal! You clyld smell the deliciousness from a block away. Enough on a plate to share amd still have left overs. I read the other reviews about the hummus and its a mild neutral hummus so if you like a lot of flavor in that, maybe not the place. We had the lamb kebabs and chicken Sharawma, meat was tender and flavorful. Rice, salad and garlic sauce were all incredibly flavorful.

This place wasn’t far from where I was working this past week. After working and a run to Home Depot to grab some things for the next morning I looked on my phone for restaurants nearby. This really looked interesting, good reviews and close by. I arrived and was seated right away. I said I had never been there before so the server recommended the mix plate (chicken, steak & lamb). Everything from the salad to the meat and rice was delicious, hummus was really good with the fresh pita bread. I didn’t try any dessert items. Great service and atmosphere.

Very Great delicious and healthy food. At Christmas they decorated with a nice tree. Feels like home, friendly staff has bar; but it’s very nice upscale. Has the 4 star without 4 star price. Their mesquite charcoal is for real and it really brings out the flavors. Hummus is great. The ribeye beef Tikka is awesome. Salad is hand made also very delicious.

Glendale’s gem! Food was great, got the mixed kabob. All was good but the lamb was the best, tender and moist. Salad was crisp and fresh and the hummus was good. Got seated right away, great atmosphere. I’ll be going here again.
