1 – hard to find ceviche, aguachile and Baja style Mexican this part of town. 2 – lathe shrimp ceviche tostada is generous in portion size and with the avocado. 3 – this is a modest place but worth of calling it a “joint” in the best authentic meaning possible.

The food here was absolutely delicious! I was honestly impressed that the fish stayed perfectly crunchy even after a 30-minute commute home. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The only downside is that ordering can feel a bit cramped since the space is very small and there’s usually just one person taking orders, so it gets busy. That said, the food is 100% worth it and I’ll definitely be back.

Tacos Tates great. Price was great. Service is non existent but it’s no problem. Wasn’t expecting it so no problem. Not much seating. People waiting for food everywhere. Quick in and out!! Good tacos.

a simple take out and counter service spot. i’ve had it several times over the last 2 years. Always the same burrito. Always large — enough for 2 meals. They include nachos and free condiments (full jalapenos, radishes, sauces, onions, etc) are all really good. If possible, request they put in less rice in the burrito. The last time I went the rice felt old and not so many veggies int he burrito itself. But I would give it another shot

GUYS WHAT HAPPENED?! last few visits have not been the same…
food inconsistencies – recently i received an undercooked shrimp taco, a not crunchy fish taco, and watery esquites
ordering issues – the POS is super laggy/slow, so placing an order takes a long time. I’ve also received the wrong items or have had missing items my last 2 visits
general vibe – the self serve salsa bar was my favorite, I’m not kidding i have a pic of it in my camera roll. It was once an immaculate, well stocked area with fresh radishes, abundant salsas, etc. tonight it was nearly empty, spicy mayo was out, and a sticky mess
I really really hope they can return to the quality and service from when they opened! As many Los feliz-ians know, this storefront is somewhat cursed (nothing stays there long), but i am very much rooting for Baja CA Tacos to be the exception!

salsa bar is iconic, with cilantro crema, spicy mayo, a spicyyy red salsa and lots of radishes and grilled jalapeños! sauce girls will freak

Everyone here is so nice and helpful!!! They are always so kind to my Mother and I! I don’t eat meat but love a good taco and coming here getting their potato tacos is always a joy ! Highly recommend
