We stayed in a nearby hotel and decided to give this a try. Did not disappoint! Pad Thai has decent portion and great taste. Vegetable delight (stir fried veggies) were also decent with a flavorful soy based sauce, but I wish portions could be bigger.

3.5 stars. We came here as a group of 7 and got seated quickly. The restaurant has a nice ambiance with some Thai/Buddha accents. Service is slow so you have to be prepared for a wait. We were here for lunch but they have some interesting cocktails. One of our friends tried the coffee martini and liked it. We ordered the massaman curry, red curry, pad thai, drunken noodles and the shrimp tempura. The dishes were all good flavor wise. On a heat scale, they were not at all spicy. My brother and I love spicy food. We ordered their Thai hot level, which is one step below their hottest (double Thai hot) level. The Thai hot was about 7/10. We could have easily managed the double hot. Among our friends, the ones who ordered medium spice felt that they would have managed the higher levels of spice. So, keep that in mind when you order food here. The food is much milder than other Thai restaurants. Pricing wise, they are on par with the area. We were there on a weekend so we paid a little more. Their weekday lunch prices are cheaper.

I had such an amazing experience at Zen Restaurant! The food was so bomb — every single dish had incredible flavor and came out perfectly fresh. Our waiter was super attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed the whole time. The service truly made the meal even better.

This place is amazing. Great atmosphere and amazing food. Customer service was outstanding. Our waitress was very attentive and the owner is amazing and takes such good care of his guests. I highly recommend the Thai tea espresso martini. Food was some of the best I’ve had downtown!

The fried chicken wings are delicious as an appetizer, well-marinated and tasty even without any sauce. The restaurant is very comfortable and is a good choice for downtown dining. The green curry is rich and delicious with coconut milk.

Pretty good curry
The mango sticky rice was a bit bare, but maybe it’s because we ordered without sesame oil….?
My friends teriyaki chicken took a pretty long time, the rest of our food was already not hot, and barely warm by the time it came.

Food was amazing. Had chicken satay, potstickers, drunken noodle w chicken, and pad Thai- both mild spicy. All of it was very good. It came out LIGHTENING fast on a friday evening at 8pm with the restaurant almost at capacity. Ambiance is great, and the seating is phenomenal- opting for large table with big booths and ‘couch type’ seating in the middle. They could fit way more tables, but its clear they prioritize customer comfort over flipping as many as possible. Definitely recommend!!!!

This place was recommended by someone I met on an elevator. What a favor! They have really delicious food. It seems to be family owned, the decor is cute and they have great service. Don’t skip the dessert! Best mango sticky rice and coconut ice cream. Definitely give it a try.

I ordered Zen special salad and Pad Thai. Pad Thai is fair, thought The Zen Salad shd be their special, unfortunately it’s so disappointing. Just some greens and sliced mango over rice noodles, and the sauce tasteless.
When I ordered the dishes, I didn’t realize that salad came with meat. But when I ordered Pad Thai, I did ask to have tofu instead of meat, I wished they could alert me that salad came with beef, I would like to change that as well. Although I’m not 100% vegetarian, but feeling their service just so careless.
When I was done with the lunch, the server dropped me the check not even bothering to ask If I need some to go boxes when both my dishes were half full there, and I had to call herback to give me some boxes.
The restaurant decor well and neat though.
