La Casina will forever be a favorite for good food. My husband and I always come for the La Porchetta and Carciofi Alla Romana. 10/10, never disappoints. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable of their menu options. The atmosphere is very calm and relaxing. I recommend to anyone local or even if you’re visiting from out of town.

Their vegan option (La Mediterranea) is a hidden gem. I haven’t enjoyed pizza in so long since going vegan and this really hit the spot. It was so good I ordered the same thing the next day for delivery. The bruchette miste appetizer was also very tasty. My server was nice enough to alter it so I could just double up on the vegan versions and skip the pork & pesto (cheese) ones.
My server was also very polite and great at making recommendations that suited my needs. He also stopped me from ordering way more than I could bare to eat. I was stuffed by the end and had originally planned on ordering 2 pizzas

It was my first time at La Casina, my roommate recommended it to me as her favorite pizza place and it did not disappoint! The food was so fresh and tasty, service was amazing and atmosphere was on point. Tiramisu was 11/10! As we were leaving the Chef gave us some baguettes to take home as he learned it was our first time there. What a great experience! 🙂

This is the best pizza I’ve had in the DMV! Everything is so fresh, and the Tuscany red wine was amazing. Even after we finished our meal, we were still staring at the other orders coming out of the kitchen from our viewpoint at the bar because they all looked delicious. All the staff are friendly and clearly love the food and drinks as much as the customers do, so they offer great menu recommendations. My only gripe is that the place is so small that when people open the front door, most of the restaurant feels the cold draft; I’d bring a jacket/coat for indoors if it’s cold outside.

As a true Italian, I must say this is one of the best pinsas I have ever tried. I went with my parents and my brother, and we were all amazed not only by the quality of the ingredients used, but also by the warmth and kindness of the owners, Angela and her husband, Fabrizio (the chef). A truly one-of-a-kind place, where you can enjoy high-quality food at very affordable prices. We will definitely be back very soon!
